No hands in the air for trance yo.

That area is limited for high fives only.

Posted by wonderfulmind on Jul-29-2006 17:19:

Just bought my tickets on www.ticketbreak.com
Taxes and convenience fees are ridiculous but still a good price.
I hope they dont overpack it tho AVB wasn't too bad for room at all.

Posted by djbruuen on Jul-29-2006 17:24:

i'm sure room will be fine since they're selling tickets. i was impressed by the space at armin. it was packed, but with room to move, so made for an enjoyable experience (minus rude ppl, but whatever, can't let that get to you) since its small and tiesto, i'm sure tickets will be out fairly fast. geez khabouth is not wasting time getting all the big shots in. definately doesn't want to mess around with letting the club crumble to the ground. i wander how much it costs to book tiesto for an event like this. at his rates, i'm sure they're still just reaching out for the publicity of the club more than anything.

They went on sale yesterday at Ticketmaster.ca

I paid $46 each w/ taxes and all charges.

I think they are close to $60 all in.

you make it out like tiesto is a villain, and has been watching his crystal ball, waiting for the perfect moment to come ruin a charity based EDM event.....

those who were planning on supporting that event, i'm sure will continue to do so.....

When I originally ran this event, a friend in the business told me, you will hear people who will hit you with negativity based on self insecurities, based on greed, based on their own personalities and self care. I didn't really understand it at the time because while running this event everyone has beyond supportive, I mean, even this morning Graham wished me luck and we had a nice 30 second chat about the event...

I really, really... dislike this site. I like the majority of people I met at events but for some reason it doesn't transcend on to this site, I never got that. The concept of this site is an amazing concept... but reading a comment like "you make it seem like tiesto was looking into his crystal ball waiting for the perfect moment to ruin the charity event" really shows me that this site is leaps and bounds from what should have been the main focus of this site, to discuss music, events, views.... not make "fancy comments" trying to outwit another... i mean, the majority of us are over 19 right?

I thank those who commented for Dance 2 Da Beat in support of, I thank you for the help, the dedication and the drive you have all given... trust me, it's appreciated more then you'll ever know. Those who want to go to tiesto will go to tiesto, that's ok... there are those that like the DJ and as a fan of the music.. have the right to see what the enjoy.

However, cut the non sense. Crib at no point made a comment about TIESTO being a villain, if you read that some where... please show me the site you read it on cause I clearly overlooked it. He stated that he comes here often, will be here again... so let's do something not for ourselves but for others. The comment was not about Tiesto being a villain... but us putting something before our wants.

I guess we're all entitled to our own opinions and people who want to come up with quirky comments about cristal balls and comic book characters can continue to do so... but next time, try writing something like this...

"It's unfortunate it's on the same day but those who want to support the event will continue to do so."

See how easy it is to say something without sounding so smug?
