I feel once in a while we all need our guilty pleasures... I mean its like junkfood music, its not the quality but the the pleasre Lets say when we watch TV or a movie, we don't always watch quality and nourishing programming do we? Some people want to listen to music to relax and get away from things and relieve stress. Some are lazy and do not feel like analyzing or really listen to the music as many of you do here. Some have not developed the aquired taste for certain types of music and have lousy attention spans. Whatever can we really blame anyone if they prefer cheese or quality? Different strokes for different folks I say. I prefer quality but I have my share of lower end music...But I love the comments both critisizing the track and I also like the positive comments lol. Criticism and debate is what helps evole humankind in their endeavours. I respect those who want to help move music forward in a more intelligent way, but I also respect those who turn to music to relax or have fun, either/or IT'S ALL GOOD.

this tracks gettig like zombie nation.

played everywhere 90 times a night, in the taxi on the way to town, in every bar you go to, then 40 times in the clubs with kareoke by the beer-chavs then in the kebabhouse after then in the taxi on the way home and then by some random slut in the morning when her bloke phones up wondering why she didnt come home last night...... the list is endless.

nah id say im right. its not as cheesy as put your hands up but its just as uninspired and boring

Posted by Az on Feb-16-2007 18:05:

uninspired? hardly, it put dirtybird and vonstroke on the map last year.
Boring? it's kicked the living shit out of every club I've heard it played, and thats quite a few.

heh, you could say the exact same thing about 'put your hands up'. it put le grand on the map and it def blows up in the clubs.

actually, moreso...VonStroke also had Deep Throat & that remix of Ghouls to go off of. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I can't name another Fedde Le Grand track.

Probably the greatest EDM track of all time.

Posted by Taranis on Feb-18-2007 06:59:

It's not a terrible track. Too boring for general listening, but it works well for dancing, though it gets a bit old if played in it's entirety. A few minutes of it thrown somewhere into a set works well though, and yes, it's getting incredibly overplayed. I've hardly even gone out the last few months and I'm growing tired of it.

It's actually mixed and mastered very well, and it definately fills floors. I honestly don't see why people hate it other than the fact that it's so popular.

How well its mixed and mastered is completely irrelevant to making the track good though, for example nobody defends Britney Spears trakcs by saying "ah yes but its actually mixed and mastered very well".

Sorry for the simple response but i'm pretty much falling asleep in my chair

They can't make a great track, but they can break one.
