no kidding u should have just told them to get the fuck out of ur way... thats what we were doing all night, u come off as a bitch, but hey, im pretty sure its worth it... we told this one sweaty shirtless guy to take a step about a foot back so we wouldnt have to touch him as we passed.

friggen awsome, we thought it would be over crowded and hot, but it turned out that that is prolly the BEST place for it, there was like zero traffic from ppl tryinmg to get from one place to another so u could dance uninterupted, and guv trash didnt really appear there since they prolly would walk in excpecting house, hear breaks and walk out.

Jesus fuckin christ ... Ferry! thats all i have to say (Armin made my night aka my fcukin bday :-) with Black Pearl - Bounty Island (Dj Shah's Harbour Mix) and closing with freakin Solar Stone - Seven Cities once again! loved it!) But Ferry's 6 h set was electric ... i was blown away by the classics he dropped at the end of his set ... trance classics i thought i'd never hear in a club again...he dropped them all!!! fuckin unbelievable ... "Sweetest Dreams" "Force of Gravity" "Holding On" ... closing with "Rock Your Boddy". The man owned. With that being said, im going to recharge now ... its late...

i was at a Armin gig where he closed with Seven Cities

fa kin su pah !!!

and then Ferry carries on with tunes like Force of Gravity ... Right Of Way ... Sweetest Dreams ... Carte Blanche... but i didnt hear any Sublime or Kyoto thats ok ...still a marvellous night of some classic Trance

and boo to benny. his skybar set was boring. i was expecting him to bring the energy level way up but that didnt happen. addy did a very good job with the crowd once benny got off.

Yeah, isn't anything exciting. Just needed to get some air and rest in between AvB and Ferry's Sets.

No idea if it continued on during the rest of the night.

How was Benny' close at the Guv? Anything better?

Wow what a night! Actually had room to dance and met up with some old friends.

HC
Armin - Good
Junkie - For a one hour set I'm surprised he played some of his older stuff but still good and one of the reasons I came to this event
Digweed The man was on fire

However, although enjoying Digweed's set the most, the trance tunes once again are the ones the made the night memorable.

Ok now that I am somewhat recharged, here it goes:

- Got to KH around 10:30(good thing too, line up was massive)
- Waited in the guestlist line which was too friggin slow, but some nice people in line to chat with.

- Got into KH around 11:15 or so and found my friend Sherry on the opposite stage, so we were just gettin warmed to M.O's set though he was a little flat.

- Armin then showed up as scheduled at 12 and of course he drops Pink Floyd which lets face it I heard it 4 times before I even got in, but was still a good vibe to catch in there. When he dropped Tri State I went nuts and then when he played my favorite "Love you more" I jumped even harder, I never sweated that much in my life! and these 3 blonde girls who think they are pretty cause they can push past anyone, didn't push past me, everyone was laughing about it once they left, I am going forget it, they aren't ruining this song for me. Overall Armin's set 8/10 for me, only cause the second hour wasn't so great, but he really picked it up in the 3rd hour.

- JXL hits the decks and I had to get a freezie, I was just dying, it was my fix. Then I lose my friends no idea where they went. So all I did was go down right to the rail where the DJ booth was and made some new friends. His set 7/10 though when he played Talk by Coldplay it was real nice actually.

- Ferry hits the decks and it was nice to see him for the first time. Now truthfully I wasn't too into what he was spinning, what made it for me was the PEOPLE! down there, they were so friggin cool. Everyone was dancing, connecting and having a great time. I even made some new friends. I got to meet a few TA's and Sasha thanks so much for turning around to take a picture of us, really cool of you to do so. I left at about 8 am as I was just getting so tired and my head was vibrating. But I'll never forget how amazing everyone was to me down there. Loved the "Ferry Ferry, Ferry fuckin Cortsen" chants ha ha. 8/10

Notes - Never been in KH that packed before. I am a little miffed about missing Diggers as I heard he was on! Lisa~Loo I was the guy with the curly hair and orange shirt that was askin you to turn your sign around so I could read it, I know you are a big fan of Ferry and I could see you were really enjoying your night, then I shouted out, "I LOVE THIS SONG" when he dropped Galaxia. I was to your right on the bend of the rail, hope I didn't freak you out or anything, I wanted to come say hi, but it was real crowded over there, next time I hope. This event changed my opinion on the TOTA's, you are all very nice people and I got real good vibe from you. It was great to have you all front row and makin this fun. Only sour note and I know we have all heard it before, Asians in this club are extremely pushy and rude and look like they don't even know what is going on there, I mean geez I am not like that, why are you? I have respect for you chinamon though cause you seem like a really cool guy on these boards and actually know what is going on, plus you take great photos.

All in all, the music wasn't what made my night totally, it was partying and dancing with all you wonderful people in the front row during Ferry's set, and I hope to do it again soon!

Koolhaus - Didnt spend as much time in here as i thought i would, stayed a bit for Mark Oliver and AvB then headed over to Gallery. got dripped on big time in there.

Guvernment - This was my favorite part of the night, Digweed Tore the Place Up, i dont think i stopped dancing from the time i got in there with Jason and Brant. absolutely awesome time in there, except for the frickin cieling rain finding me wherever i went. but the experience in there was frickin fantatstic.

Gallery - Breaks > then a lot of stuff i heard last night. absolutely awesome time in there. wasnt packed at all, plenty room to dance.

Drink - yeah, all the best even trying to walk through there, i was pushing and shoving like hell to get through that place. frickin aweful in there.

Orange Room - Bangin' House Music !!! and Caution tape distribution centre, what more could ya want. actually i coulda used a little more tape sahsa and a hell of a lot more Sydney Blu.

THE TENT - WHAT A ROCKIN PLACE. Plus it was outside in the cool fresh air of course...maybe also the reason why im sick as a dog today. meh, thats my own fault...

oh and earplugs saved my life once again in there, i left with no buzzing in my ears whatsoever.

Oh and Nice to Finally Meet Ya Kristina...Mwah right Back

Same with you Kris...you were ALWAYS Dancing, everytime i saw ya.

too bad there ended up being no TA Meet Up.

P.S. other than the fact that armin van boring played bodyrox yeah yeah (D. Ramirez remix, Schulz Rework) that bit of his set that i caught made me really tired for the next hour, no matter where i went.

Posted by Sasha on Sep-04-2006 22:57:

I have absolutely no desire to see any of top 20 DJ's again. musicwise Kool Haus and main room were worst places to be last nite (I missed Digweed though)

on the other hand, those who spent at least half an hour in the tent, will agree with me that the music and djs energy were on a totally different level there! AWESOME!

what will you do when any of the unmentioned djs end up in top 20 and do same things as the djs that are in top 20 to keep things flowing for everyone.

i dont see how the tent was any more special than orange room or skybar. if you heard 'song a' in orange room first and u liked it, rest assured you cud go to tent or skybar and hear it twice again lolz

for main room i will say this much that Hernans set was not as good as i had expected it to be.but still it was damn good times. i didnt see digweed either so i dun know lolz and for KH well it was said in roll call that this was going to be a classic sort of night of Trance and thats exactly what we got

Posted by m2j on Sep-04-2006 23:18:

ok, i'm gonna cut the chase here...

which sets were recorded... and where can we get them?
