i think you are misinformed, just because the media assumed terrorist doesn't mean the people of NYC assumed it. Life did not stop in NYC, people did not start shopping for food and water so I think that expectation of the worst is huddled by your belief of what the news is portraying.

And to tell you the truth, I had to walk home on 9/11 and I walked through central park to find people sun bathing, riding their bikes, reading books, chilling out...this leads me to believe that you believe it couldn't have been an accident and the news reporting to be expected as the worst, not the citizens of this city.
