CD1 is ace!
Anyone recommend other cds like this?
Is it like GU024? If so, I might consider picking it up...

I had a small hope that this would be more on the tech-trance side like the Amsterdam GU, but this is mostly electro-prog-house, CD 2 that is. I'm not into this new progressive house sound, but I liked some tracks:
Zur-Face - Cosmopolitan Drink
Oliver Moldan & Isma Ae - Five Five Zero
Miika Kuisma - One Morning By The Riverside
Ohmna - I'm Lost
Just listened to both discs. CD 1 was pretty damn good. It had it's dull moments here and there but for the most part, I liked it. Def something I'd play after a long night of partying.
CD 2 was more my style. Sexy prog beats and an easy amount of electro. 25 min to 42 minutes is my favorite part of this cd. The 2 16 bit Lolitas tracks plus Habersham and Kazell=fucking audio bliss. Would love to hear more reggae prog.
Well I've only heard both cd's a couple times through, but so far I'm leaning more towards cd 2. Both cd's are quite different from GU028, but I'm enjoying this GU release. Would be a treat to see Nick Warren spin live.

CD 1 is great
CD 2 a disapointment honestly...
CD 1 is amongst one of the best EDM compilations I've heard, period. I've listened to this 8/9 times already and I've failed to get bored of it. Solid 10/10. A+.
CD 2 is your average prog/electro/house compiled and mixed together. Not bad, just nothing special. Mixing is whatever, decent at best. Doesn't nearly come close to the greatness of CD 1 at all. Still worth the purchase for CD 1. Buy it for that.
Nick Warren shot up in my personal DJ list after this.
Refuge
Is it just me or does the transition from I'm Lost to 8 Bit Era on disc 2 make you say WTF. I mean those two are tracks have completely different vibes.

Tripswitch Strange Parrallels is bliss!
^^
Thanks, nice video
Love how he says: slightly "minimal".
nice vid, thanks!
Disk 1 is an excellent mix, really fits with the whole "Paris" theme of the CD, lots of really loungy sounds. Disk 2 could have been fantastic but the ordering of the tracks is weird... like someone said, "I'm Lost" into "8 Bit Era" doesn't work. But there are some great tracks on here, I especially am fond of Bokoto 10PM.
Could be I missed it somewhere in this whole thing, but can u sample it anywhere?
nice cd, its one that i like but am not addicted to which is good, means that it will be consistantly played for years to come ^_^
AudioGliders - Whiskers has to be my favourite, catches the whole paris sound perfectly
This compilation just continues to grow on me, which is always great. GU30 along with Dave Seaman's Renaissance The Master Series Part 7 are a pleasure to listen to as 2006 goes. I wonder if we're gonna see another GU from Dave Seaman anytime soon? Now that would kick ass.
