Eva Longoria is engaged to her beau, San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker.

"Tony flew into Los Angeles last night after his game and surprised Eva at her home as she got off work," Liza Anderson told The Associated Press on Thursday via e-mail. "The proposal was romantic and perfect. The couple plans to wed in France in the summer of 2007 in what they describe as a big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends."

I'd take me some of that. Boobies FTW. Makes me hate the Spurs even more though for some strange reason. Now we have a Dallas fan too to deal with. Any Rockets bandwagoners yet, just so we got all of Texas covered?

spurs-mavs games are pretty much the only reason why I still get excited for the NBA

Unlikely since he only nailed two 3's.

Do you know where West Coast Bias is the strongest? In the NBA!! The Leastern Conference is absolute garbage this year. Even Bill Simmons broke it down for us on ESPN. My Blazers would probably be in first in the Least.

lol... thats when I was watching, those two back to back 3's... the 2nd was from way beyond, so fuckin SUE me... you West Coast bastard!!!

EAST SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Dec-01-2006 19:43:

i was watching the game last night. Fortunately, i caught that whole 3rd quarter. What you guys have not said yet is not the amount of points he scored in the game, but what he did in the 3rd quarter. He didn't miss a shot! he went 9-9 fgs, 2-2 three pointers, and 10-10 free throws. you can say selfishness there (i say so myself too), but that's just sick.

btw, i like bill simmons' comment on michael redd's 58 point performance, and how he racked up ZERO assists along with his 58.

I love how YOU TWO... keep hitting up Bill Simmons for EVERYTHING...

Simmons is EAST SIDE!!!

Yeah pretty much. When 90% of your life is spent on the west coast, it's hard to break even with being a life long Yankees fan.

Simmons is probably my favorite sports writer. I love how he mixes in the movies/TV themes as well. I watch a lot of the same trash he does. Even though he's a die hard Boston guy, I guess that's what makes it more fun for me.

Well I love Buster Olney too, that's a must read as well.

Exactly, so just abandon your west side agenda and do whats right...

EAST SIDE!!!

Damn i am super surprised that the Magic won tonight, even more surprised that the winning 2 pointer came from grant hill

Posted by Kapedano on Dec-05-2006 18:28:

im suprised that the magics are leading the east, but then again its the east! west side!!!

here's something that's more surprising ... carmelo anthony is #1 in scoring ? after going through world championships, and practically having to salvage the team when they couldn't find the points ? that's not supposed to happen. unfortunately, i think melo is going to break down soon, and go down with a season injury, because of the brutal schedule over the break for him.

Melo was probably the best player on Team USA actually. He's an offensive force and a pretty good leader. It started off Lebron and Melo, then became Wade and Lebron, and now it's becoming more of the big 3. Although I think Bosh deserves recognition up there as well from that SICK draft!

I'm hoping this upcoming draft is as strong, as long as Durant and Oden come out. One more great pick for the Blazers and they will be rising again!!

The Least is garbage but Orlando does have Man Beast Dwight Howard! Within a year or two, Howard will be the next prototypical center. A little more agile then guys like SNaq or Ewing, etc.

Ewing is probably the last "true" center (until Yao came along) in the league that actually knew how to play his position. he didn't win any rings because he got screwed by hakeem, jordan, reggie, and tim-mah! . I liked Ewing's style. he always tried to motivate his team, and never gave up on plays. right now, ewing can probably play some games with some teams at the moment, because quite frankly, the center position is very lacking. things may change with the emergence of howard, bosh, elson, bierdenis, and okafor.

Howard has come a long way since his rookie year and Darko is becoming decent defensive presence. Chris Bosh doesn't get the run that he deserves, most underrated of the young big men

Defense is over-rated
Crazy game between the Nets and Suns
Tied at 133-133 at the end of regulation
Suns win in 2 OT, 161-157
