just to give you guys an update, i brought Sasha home last night from the kitty clinic after his front declaw and he is doing GREAT so far. he seems to be recovering very easily and he is running around and playing like normal. he gets a little confused when he tries to climb up me. like he'll look up at me with this expression like "wtf mom, where are those sharp things i had in my paws that helped me climb you?!" ... but his attitude definitely has not changed at all.

i thought about naming my kitty Diggers, but when we got it and weren't sure if it was a boy or girl, we figured Sasha was a better option. maybe when we have a house and more room for pets we'll get a puppy and name him Diggers!
and speaking of pets... holy shit, i was at my ex-bf's house last night and when i walked in and saw my old cat he looked soooo fucking huge! it's weird to look at normal sized cats when you're used to seeing a tiny lil kitten. i swear i thought my old cat grew to like twice the size of what he used to be...

i'd drop in more often, but it seems like things are pretty dead around here... oh how i miss the days of hitting refresh in COR all day at work when things were slow! there was always something to entertain me.

It's a terrible thing to declaw a cat. I had an adopted cat who was declawed by previous owner. He never could walk right or defend himself among other things.
