Lineups are always the same old tired internationals!

Future maybe be catering to the masses, but at least they invest in bringing out new artists and good lineups.

Hardware parties ROCK.
i went in the tech room@ 2tribes. haha.

yeh but also Future are bringing out some same ole internationals as well.

Both crews cater for different types of people/music etc - that's why they've always been able to survive together in such a small market. Both crew have a lot to offer and this city would be SERIOUSLY one dimensional without them both.

AGREE well said!!!

erm its not really a retirement, more like a 'working holiday'!!

btw, i believe there is something to be liked on the lineup even if you only like a single genre (even though these days it's rather hard to believe..) ... its going to be the biggest summer ever!!

flights booked

maybe I need to change my icon now..?

Posted by Lloyd on Dec-17-2006 09:54:

Ferry Corsten for fucking sure.

Add Sander to that and I am there without a doubt.

I understand competeing and business and blah blah but Hardware, in my mind, will have great difficulty going up against that lineup. On Hardwares site it lists Deep Dish as an act to be used between Sep 06 and Mar 07, and I would fuckin' love to see Deep Dish, but there is no chance I will miss Ferry Corsten.

Posted by m1kest4r on Dec-17-2006 11:54:

i saw deep dish a few months ago, they were alright. failed to keep the mood driving through their set.

only 2 hours which doesnt leave a lot, but certainly the tent only fired up when their big tunes came on.

ferry on the other hand...last time i saw him he was awesome!

Yeah I agree with your last paragraph and pretty much what you said about taste being subjective, I don't think I mentioned anything about wishing future or hardware bad luck.

Both need to be supported.

I hope hardware really do pull out a great lineup or two this year, but off course I've already stated I don't care much for the lineup coming up for NYE/NYD or most in the last few years. Not saying they are bad artists or bad parties, just feels like the same old shit and been there, and seen that before IMHO for myself and a lot of my friends who are aging tech heads from yester year.

There are only so many times you can see Speedy J, CJ Bolland & Carl Cox in one year.

No offence mate just an opinion

The Hardware Festival is at night. Jackpot.
