I'd never heard such an amazing Tunes at CZ, Eric was'nt that good at Gallery but he absolutly tore apart the Zone ,and Anthony Atalla was really sick as always, and he completed the job ... Anthony & Eric thanx a lot for bringing new tunes to the zone ,instead of the same Tribal tracks that they play all the time ...
It was funny that some people were complaining about the music (but seriuosly dont expect too much from those ones, who just are happy if the Dj plays "Sexy fuck" or "white Horse " or...!!?
Crwod was actually better than usuall, but still they dont really appreciate good music...

Sorry for the late review, but I usually like to have a bit of time to reflect on my night before I review it.
What a fucking awesome morning at The Comfort Zone! I got to The Zone at about 7.30am. Although I was having a good time at Sonic, I was in a real Zone mood, and wanted to finally see Barato in The Zone for the first time. What a good idea that was!
Nathan Barato
Nathan, all I can say is wow! I was looking forward to hearing you in The Zone for the first time as much as I was the other headlining acts, and you most certainly did not dissapoint. Leaving Demi a little early was certainly worth it. The last hour of your set was especially good. I heard the set was recorded. I certainly hope that's true. Also, I love your presence behind the decks. Absolute mayhem is going down on the dance floor, and people are going buck wild right in your face, and you keep this calm poise the whole time, grooving to the beats.
Mikey Antenna (Eric Entrena)
As I said to a few people after Nathan finished, Entrena was going to have to pull something serious out of his sleeve in order to top Nathan's set. Usually I'm pretty skeptical of DJs who haven't played at The Zone before, because they usually don't do to well given the fact that it's hard to feel out The Zone sound, but Entrena did a good job! Massive, chunky tribal all the way through. The place was eating it up. I'm sure he loved it too because he stayed on until 12.00. This was a bit dissapointing however since I did want to hear Carlo Lio play.
Entrena played the 2 tracks of the morning for me including:
Chemical Brothers - Hey Girl, Hey Boy (? remix) - I've never heard this one in a club before. It was great to hear it
Mastiksoul - Evasive - Fucking awesome tune. I've always wanted to hear this in The Zone. This track exemplifies everything I think about The Zone. Everything from it's fast pace, to it's banging bass, and especially the subtle growling in the background captures the rawness and the energy of The Zone perfectly. I highly suggest everyone check out this track to see what I'm talking about. You do need a good soundsystem for the full effect though..
Anthony Attala
More awesomeness. You promised minimal and techno, and you certainly delivered! It was a very risky, but good transition from Eric Entrenna. You brought everyone down from banging tribal mayhem and right into clickly minimal insanity. I think people were disoriented from the change up, but in a very good way. The minimal beats enhanced that feeling of disorientation that people were feeling after too many hours of partying. It was awesome to finally hear a set with a lot of minimal in The Zone. It is my favourite sound to hear in The Zone, just as I thought it would be.
Damn what a good day of music at The Comfort Zone!
The party
I absolutely looooove mornings where there a lot of TAs and friends in The Zone. It's really fun down there when there are a lot of familiar faces. I loved the level of sketchyness down there too. The last few times I have been down there, it has been a bit too tame for my liking. It sounds wierd, but as long as it's not dangerous, I like the place sketchier. I go there for the thrill! An older dude (probably in his 50s?) with green (possibly taped) eyelids/eyelashes "dancing" in a very wierd manner definately fills the sketchy category!
As for the vibe, I didn't really find it anything special. That could be because the last time I was at The Zone (Oct 29), the place was absolutely bonkers. The whole front of the DJ booth jumping up and down for 75% of the set is a crazy Zone vibe. That's what it was like a couple of weekends ago during Addy's set.
All in all, a very good morning at The Zone.
