honestly, I haven't been this pissed about an event in a long time.

there is alot of competion that night, so i guess that guvernment feels the need to make this event more attractive to the partyers by including the gift to the line up...

i mean i wasnt considering this event or partying this weekend at all.. but now it is crossing my mind

I am sure it would be just as busy to have the Gift on a seperate night than Marco V.

i see it as them attempting to generate more traffic for the marco v night, and it will work.

i dont think anyone that was at the gift last year will disagree that the gift DESERVES its own night. nothing else....no other dj....nothing else going on that night other than mark oliver in the guv all alone spinning what should be spun on that night.

this is garbage. major disappointment.

this is one of a lot of peoples favourite nights. i like marco v, but mark olivers The Gift deserves a night all its own

ps. there was no disappointment over eddie halliwell

technically hes one of the best djs out there. but it always feels like hes just seeing what tricks he can do, as opposed to getting the crowd dancing. in april '05 he did a 28 minute remix of adagio for strings..which most of the audience spent standing and waiting.

i've seen him sooo many times, and he really deserves respect for his talents, but really. pay attention to the crowd. if they're not dancing, put a fuckin beat in already

No way. Classics night by itself and have Marco V and Mark O do what they do best. I do NOT want to see Marco V belt out classics, been there done that, I want to see them drop their own style maybe with one or two older tunes, mostly do what he does best. Guys i dont think we have anything to worry about. Trust me i am 100% in aggreance that the GIFT truely needs its own night...but honestly Marco V and Mark O bringing the night together any style will be great...intro with classic tunes...mix it up with marco V and then finish off the night with more classics...sounds good to me.

Again i dont think its a smart move having them combined...but regardless lets dance our asses off!!!

NO !!!....the gift HAS to be o na seperate night...they have to take into consideration that there are alot of djs here that night....and not everyone can make it for mark oliver....
