it's hilarious how bent out of shape people get when discussing video games.
w00t
sorry for the bumpy!
I just got to playing my Wii and omg Bowling + Tennis is the win.
So is Rayman and Monkey balls.
Except I can't seem to get the plunger to move on in rayman.. DAMN U HOG RACE!
Before Wii came out, i was very skeptical about it. I thought its just going to be another console for toddlers. BOY WAS I WRONG. I never had this much fun with a console. Yesterday, buncha of us bought some beer and played wii after work(22-23 year olds) Few saturdays ago we played for about 10 hours. Wii is truly revolutional and it shows by the sold numbers...5 million consoles in 3-4 months. Im still looking to get one, even though my friends have it.
Rayman ravaging rabbids is such a fun game btw.
Wii sports is just fucking brilliant. I love it.
Monkey balls is the best party game. We used all 4 remotes and had a drunken blast!!!!!!!
Rayman is great but for 1 player... cuz u have to take turns.
Gonna try extra hard to get a Wii this weekend

Originally posted by jupiterone Aint no big deal but its hella fun game. One of the reason I want to get a Wii, I mean I'd never watch golf/ play golf on any console/PC but I am willing to play it on Wii because of the controller. Same with the fishing game.
I played it for a couple of hours, it gets boring and lame really fast.

Originally posted by inconspicuous Yeah, I saw the ad for it and it made me want a Wii. I'd be worried that it'd completely ruin my actual swing, though, from taking so many swings without a club. I was actually trying to think up ways to attach the controller to the grip of a golf club, instead.
wiiiiiii
the company was never really doing bad until launch. It had the wonderful DS, but putting an exceptionally low-powered gaming machine on the market that contained something many passed off as a gimmick was a huge risk for Nintendo. But these ngas did it, and they are on top of the world right now. Developers are willing to write the extra code to make their X-platform games work with the Wii interface because there is so much potential in that machine to make it a fun gaming machine, not a technological CPU/GPU cruncher.
+Each PS3 and 360 are both being sold @ a loss for their companies. Nintendo is selling each Wii for a profit margin
hooray
anyways, i can only suggest to :Rent: Trauma Center. The drama is pretty dumb and the storyline gets pretty whack, but it's cool to spend a few days operating on people and watching hot anime chicks

EA Announces New Exclusive For Wii
quote:
EA wants to shake your tail feather this afternoon. Failing that, it's announced a new rhythm-based party game for Wii. Boogie will let you create and customise a character, then use the wacky console controls to sing and dance in your very own music video. Something EA hopes will be the ultimate party partner, as you gyrate your pants off to impress your chums. "We're creating something new and different for gamers of all ages to enjoy; the complete party package where gamers can dance as well as sing," said Alain Tascan, general manager at developer EA Montreal. "Nintendo's Wii is an amazing console that really gives us a platform to be creative and to re-think traditional game development." Unfortunately we were unable to get hold of EA to find out exactly how it will all work. We expect it means you'll warble into the Wiimote microphone and squirm in front of the sensor bar. It all sounds a little like hard work. Boogie is due out exclusively this year for Wii. Pop over to our Gallery to peruse the latest party snaps.
