I would like to still thank you for coming out.

i left before KT came on so i didnt get a chance to hear him...

but the openers which i assume was you guys played very well... i said to my GF there at the time when it was like 1230 or something like that that if they gave the few of us in there a second arm ban or something and gave us an open bar i would have stayed all night even with just a few people that showed b/c we all would have gotten sloshed together and listened to good music and i would have felt the club showing good faith for those who did make it out on such a bad turn-out evening... i understand its a business but i would have given Club One such praise word-of mouth wise afterwards for doing such an act, other than me coming home pissed off at the club for not getting a turn out...

but for real.. Saturday night on a non-rainy night... i expected more people....(no i dont want to try to do it... its hard to do and the owners/managers/promoters have taken on this job of bringing in people... its what they get paid to do, so as a patron i expect nothing less)

dj wise and musically,... i saw no issues, +1

Well, I thought I didn't have any way to record when I sold my Tascam. Turned out after doing some clean up on my PC that I have two different applications that record, Audacity (which I thought I had removed) and one portion of my Roxio suite. The roxio audio recorder works quite well, especially with the sound editor. So, since we aren't sure about how much of my set was recorded and how well it turned out, I decided to record last night when I was messing around with my tables. So I reconstructed the set I played at KT.

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the set. I'm listening to it now.

Why is the file so big? (175mb)

Compressed at 320 for now. I need to compress it more when I get back to the house today.

By the way, not going out of town. Wanna hang out this weekend?

Bwahahahahaa! I was just f'ing around on my PC and started noticing that all I need was the interface to plug my master into with the Roxio application. It works awesome. I was on my tables anyway, so I figured, what the hell.

I still want to hear the REAL live version though

Also, why is my file 175mb when compressed to 320? It should be half that size!!!!

Want to meet up tonight? I really want to learn to spin on CDJ's. I'll call when I get out of work.

It depends on what type of mp3 compression you use on the file size. But at 320, that sounds about right. At 192, it should be around 60-80 MB

You are exactly right. The file is 78mb at 192, and 130ish at 256. I may just keep it like this and compress it at 192 for cd's if I ever need to copy it.

Anytime before sunset tomorrow is good. I have a date/party to attend Saturday night. Plus, I really want to spin the new vinyl I have coming in tongiht.

For a mix, you don't really need to do any better than 192. That's what all the premium streams will play it as. 320 is really just for use on club sound systems so you get the best sound on them.....
