Thanky! Yeah it's one of my faves...it's Volcom, I got it at a sample sale so it was super cheap too. It's got a really nice boat neck and extra long, slightly flared sleeves.

but in all honesty, that is exactly what started it. i'm pretty sure the fetish and/or punk rock culture started it (for better head) in the early 90's...and then it just became more mainstream like belly rings. but honestly, i just dont see a point, but i guess i can see where you're coming from.

that's kinda how i feel about my navel piercing. i got it done so long ago and i dont even think about it anymore. ive had the same curved bar with pink cubic zirconia on each end of it in for the longest time.

what i can't stand is when chicks sport a tiny tank top or shirt that shows off their belly and they've got some gaudy dangly belly ring that hangs down below their waistline.

i want my nose pierced, but i'm too scared to get it done.

Yeah I feel you there. I don't show off much of my body...in fact I feel really exposed/vulnerable when I show my stomach. I've had my belly button ring for so long (same bar too, heh) that it looks weird to me without it.

I think Britney Spears style belly rings are gaudy/tacky/trashy as hell.

I got my nose pierced with a gun...so I have no advice for you there! But I still say go for it. I think nose piercings are the one thing that look good on everybody (if they're wearing the right jewelery).

Oh no no don't be. It hurts waaaaaaaay less than your ears, yes ears. I got it done by needle, and they stick a little metal tube up your nose so the needle doesn't slip all the way through. It's quick, and stings for about 10 seconds and mine bled for about a minute. ( Sometimes it doesn't bleed.) As long as you wash it with sea salt and warm water twice a day, it wont get infected. It looks nice if you have a nice small nose and have a cute little stud in after you change it. What I got ( and most people do ) is a stud to get pierced with. It's spirally inside your nose and kinda big, but it doesn't bother you.

But yes, point is that it DOES NOT hurt and don't be scared. I was scared and laughed at myself afterwards because it didn't hurt AT ALL and I cry at the littles bit of pain.
