Its funny you should mention that...

...back in highschool I used to run a keg smuggling operation.

Me and my friend Franky No-knuckles started out selling 40's of St. Ides 3 for 40 to grade 9 kids. I know what you're thinking, selling booze to underage kids is illegal, but remember, at the time we were underage too, and it is not illegal for underagers to sell to other underagers, due to the double negative clause of law 148.

We realized quickly though that the 40's of St Ides was not doing wonders for our street rep. As much money as we were bringing in, I couldn't find a bitch anywhere who would take me on a date. Everytime I would put my shit into high gear and put the moves on, they would just start trying to use me to get them 40's. I just wanted someone to love me for me.

I spoke with Franky and we both agreed, if we were going to keep doing this, and have successful love lifes we were going to have to make a change.

So we switched over to kegs figuring that the feminitas wouldn't be able to carry them on their bike rides home from our dates, and they would be forced to consider us for the true people that we really were.

The rest is history.

I am sad to hear of the close of Sonic. Finally got to see the space when I was back up for the holidays and the place looked better than the pics that I had seen. Love that space (in it's Boa days) and will ook back fondly on many-a-night/early morning spent there.

i suspect the place will reopen under new management in the future

Actually, yes it is.

In Ontario it�s illegal to consume alcohol before the age of 19 and it�s also illegal for anyone (of any age) to supply alcohol to minors.

Just got word that I will infact be opening final party at Sonic

Hope to see many of you out for the last night in this special venue.
