Easily the worst thing I've heard labeled "trance" this year - these two should have their studio equipment taken away from them so no more half cocked musical abortions like this take place.

if you like this you should check out the pictures of leeds and starkillers on beatport, pretty funny

It goes so well with the post I directed at him earlier...

i hope people keep producing tunes like this, just so i can laugh at the hilarious threads they inspire on the internet.

One thing i dont get about the lyrics

if the anthem is for the girl that got away then whose this 'you' that hes in love with?

An anthem is supposed to be a song depicting patriotism and loyalty so if hes macking on two chicks here then it shouldnt be called an anthem in the first place.

As per my previous speculation, I'm pretty sure the "you" he's in love with is really just Filo singing to Peri about how much they enjoy each others company in the shower.

Seriously though - someone in New York please slap these fellows for me next time you see them out.

Well as long as we're playing "Captain Obvious to the Rescue Part 3" I'll go ahead and say that you sir, are an idiot. End of story.

Well then they fit this thread like a glove!

I like the song and vocals. I think I'd prefer a better remix though.

tyas on the flip? i'd buy that vinyl, and i don't even own tables

I like their old stuff...I dunno what was wrong with it. They've gone on the electro house/dance pop bangwaggon along with Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. Their old tracks were so much better. "Lights In Motion" has got to be one of their best, and "Elevation". Sure their sound got a bit samey but I think at the time, their tracks were much better.

rjt, i respect your boldness on expressing how much of a disgrace of this track is to trance. it's a damn shame because yeah, they used to be good and original, but they've jumped on the bandwagon too and this track is a prime example of everything that's wrong with trance right now.

I agree, he's trying far too hard.

If you think anything I posted in this thread took any effort, you're sorely mistaken

And I do stand firm by my assertion that these fellows should be slapped for this abomination.

In the immortal words of Mr Tremor Esq. of Derbyshire.

Nobbers.

Erm, anyway, I have to laugh that someone compared this to DJ Sammy, how on earth can you say that?

This is much better than the run of the mill normal stuff that I hear nowadays. And at least its not ANOTHER remake of an old song, that seems to happen all the time now....I'm getting quite sick of seeing classic Trance tracks ruined. Hopefully that trend will end soon, I was a fan of some of the earlier remakes like Viola, Dreamland and stuff like that but no, not now.

As for this track, I really like it to be honest. Mind you, I liked Raccoon though, and I've followed dance music since the age of 12 (in 1994), so I'm not a nubbins or anything!!

Fair enough people are entitled to their opinions but I don't get why its being lambasted so much. Ho hum.....this is the direction of Trance nowadays, so deal with it I'm afraid!!

No, it's former trance producers going the pop route.
I refuse to associate this kind of tripe with trance.
