This thread is worthless without angry flower.
It's sad to see this one too:
Whether vs. Weather
Granted I am a meteorologist.... but that seems so bad when people mistake those.
Or a link to Swampers Grammar thread.

another one: which vs. that vs. who vs. whom.
...and yes, I was kidding.
These kind of threads are great since even if you spell wrong you can just say "duh I was kidding" and roll your eyes like this:
while you in reality are like:
...except when you say something so blatantly moronic that it's obvious that you were kidding.

Hahaha, just kidding.

ps. I wasn't even talking about you in particular. Stop feeling special.
if people can't spell, then their not paying attention in school.
if you had to pick, would you rather be a winner or a looser?

Think of it in mathematical terms: A. (-1) x (-1) = 1 B. (-1) + (-1) = -2 When one uses double negatives, (s)he's using the "B" way of thinking. I can't avoid using double negatives in my mother language, and neither could Aristotle, Plato and all these first logicians, whose logic was far more important than that of so called "Grammarians". |
