ne how just got home from work.. didnt have time to comment last night as i went straight to bed.. i left it was almost 2pm,.. 35 dollars doesnt bug me one bit to spend.. but the sketchpads were annoying as 4#@$.. one chick burnt my f?$@# arm and now i have a burn mark.. part of the crowd last night was way off.. lol.. the best part of our crowd were the TAS.. Nada & Ali thank you for your hospitality.. went by their place first before Skybar.. then made my way to skybar with Milena and we were able to pay at the door,barely ne line up.. thanks Pete for letting us in the line.. much appreciated.. we got in there.. was dead.. but slowly got busy..

managed to get a ferry poster.. hahha.. had some randoms call me a "thief" bah.. lol.. it actually matches my walls.. lol.. ne how.. doenst compare to ferrys set last time he was in kh.. as that set was phenomenal.. but he is one of my faves and he did not dissapoint last night.. just wish the speakers were louder.. and that it was less packed.. with less sketch..lol.. was great to see eddie and say hi.. gave him thumbs up for his awesome set last week..

over all.. 5.00 parking... 35.00 cover.... all i spent was 40.00 and i got what i came for..fkn awesome choons.. and people last night... had a blast.. i was so happy when i didnt take the next day off work.. like most ppl.. and when i heard it ended at 3.. i was laughing.. lol (sorry.. but im glad i didnt miss out on the last hour..) ah well sorry to hear the night ended early 4 most.. i wish they did stay open later for those ppl..

good to see soo many tas.. nada/ali (had a blast) sonia..peter..knox..sketchbag (sorry 2 hear you didnt enjoy it much)... del/mag (always a pleasure).. shay n her beau...shanny..lisa...danielle..dan...smuncky...and met a new ta.. lawrence was nice 2 meet u.. everyone else if i missed ya.. great times..!!

got to the westin castle hotel around 430 had a little walk around, Toronto is quite the city eh. shot the shit in the hotel room and headed to the club early thinking there would be a monster line up. wasnt too bad, got in quickly. It was definitely an interesting evening to say the least, was a bit annoyed when the speakers would blow out when songs built up and i was ready to giver...

Oliver's sets always get me moving so he warmed up well, what a talented man he is, props.
Corsten always knows how to make a crowd move, even if the crowd represented sardines last night. It was difficult to move around anywhere nr the dj booth. Chinamon when u putting the pics up???

My heart broke though at 3am when i saw ferry pick up his cd collection and do a runner, like "nooooooooo dont stop", i thought at least someone would do a closing set, even me? let me go up there for christ sake! so i did the next best thing... went into the parking lot with some friends right down by the water, turned the tunes on in the car and danced on the benches till like 5am or so. Thank you again toronto!!

First 1.5 hours of music had some great tracks of the softer variety

You are 100% right!!! the first 1.5 hour of Ferry was simply amazing, make me can not stop dancing! and i just stay @ skybar for 1.5 hour, when the music changed . i go home

Rob's always a good guy to party with, same thing happened to me again with Ferry's set, it was the people that made it for me more than anything.

RJ, I missed you there buddy, and contrary to popular belief this night actually was not that crowded.

Lawler on the skybar last year was much worse, and I would make an argument that it was more crowded on the skybar during peak hours last saturday on a residents night up there.
People who are complaining seem to just not have spent too much time on the skybar during regular summer saturday's up there, because virtually every time I have been there, it is crowded. You need to find a spot and keep it, it is not the place to attempt to complete 19 loops of social migration. I found no problem with the crowd what so ever last night, and by last night I mean thursday night.

I did think it ended 1 hour too soon. But other than that, I have no complaints at all about the night. Skybar is a great venue, and ferry was very much into his set there, and impressed me with his set, aside from punky junk which was a moment of crappiness in an otherwise oasis of fun.

Glad you had fun. Next time (if I don't have work commitments) I'll definately be there. Ferry has always been a good show.

That's great, thanks for letting me know it sucks up there at every event. And here I was, coming into a club with the expectation that my balls wouldn't be squeezed against the ass of the person in front of me for 2 hours.
