The only other song that had the same effect on me was
I didn't see this vid - just stumbled on it few minutes ago. Wow, yet another magnificent song. You don't have to speak german to understand it. Just watch - it all makes sense. As someone who grew up in USSR, I can relate and sense some of the emotions in this video. Definitely can sense PvD's East Germany/West Germany longing here. It really grabs you. Who said electronic music was emotion-less?
These are just. dunno. i got no words.. I'm just chillin here.
Some more food for soul/thought:
Underworld - Moaner
Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumors
The Cure - Lullaby
Placebo - Pure Morning
Aphex Twin - Come To Daddy
The Knife - Heartbeats
Yazoo - Only You
Electronic - Getting Away With It
Depeche Mode - It's No Good
Wu-Tang Clan - Gravel Pit

'Deep Forest - Sweet Lullaby'
End Of Story!
Whenever, wherever.. always trembles my spine.
Dj Tek, thanks for memories but gloves are off now. These are for you:
4. 3. 2. 1:
Imagination... takes the shawdows away
I beg your pardon..
A bit of guilty pleasure:
and some more:
back to favorite 80's... this one just gets me everytime... I associate it with so many moments of my youth:
Very cool mash up of two of my favorite songs:
..love that Prophet-5 sound:
I just freeze every time you see through me:
and a here's a bit to diversify...
I'm not a big fan of country but these are must see.
This is perhaps one of the greatest love songs ever. Listen to lyrics. So emotional.
If this one doesn't grab and twist something inside of you - you're dead.
KON KAN ! lol.. i fucking love that song.. have it on 12"
Lightning Seeds
PSB - Always On My Mind

first one literally gives me the chills, and the second is possibly the most beautiful and horrifyingly depressing song i've ever heard

Radiohead - Pyramid Song
Muse - take a bow. first song i saw live from them & the buildup was brilliant. the crowd noise, the hypnotic synths and basically it just moved me.
the riff added at 59 seconds says it all
the emotion. the piano. brilliant
Sunburn. the classic, but live? When it can't sound any better, you get this.
And finally, the energy. Sure everyone's heard stockholm syndrome & knights of cydonia by now but as great as they sound live, this wiped the floor with it
Plus they don't play it live as much so it was a treat to be one to get it
fuck. just found Newborn live from Pinkpop 2007 in Landgraaf, NL. Montana always argues that the perfecto or timo remixes of muse are good. but this disproves it. the riff is so much of the song, and the bit at the end where matt goes absolutely nuts with an extra riff just gives the track an energy that an electronic remix can't come close to
if you only watch one of my vids here, watch this. then watch the rest

e.s posthumus - nara
Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams (Ferry Corsten remix)
Ferry played it live for a request and OMGIDIE
Again, some awesome videos off the beaten path:
Oh, how I envy Jason Priestley in this video:
The one hit wonder marvel:
One underappreciated choon, albeit being a bit on a cheesy side
perhaps my favorite video from the days when I used to be into *nervous*
goth
*nervous*
Is this like the best break-up song evar?
trippy... creepy... absolutely TOP SHELF choon:
Oh the voice on this guy could melt icebergs:
Not only this is one of the best engineered songs but it is just awesome. I use this track (well, CD version of it) every time I need to test the quality of a sound system or speakers.
Check it:
Ha, just found this great vid... it's not a chiller per-se... but definitely great cheeky vid:
A heart-wrenching watch and listen, especially when you know the circumstances surrounding it:
^^^ I love Queen. Freddie had such an amazing voice. What a shame that such a brilliant tallent died so young... meanwhile "My chemical romance" or "franz ferdinand" twats are still alive.... shame, really.
Some of the other faves by Queen, since we're on the subject:
Yes it's gay. but so was Freddie and that didn't stop me from loving what he did as a musician and human being.
His final adieu:
