threads like this remind me of why i dont visit FLTA forums anymore.
i get pissed and jealous that all the good shit goes to south FL while the rest of the state, including jacksonville, is largely ignored.
paul made it to jacksonville 2 years ago, and i dont expect to see him for another 2.
i'll live.
sounds like a great night.
music selection looked fine, a mix of old, current, and upcoming tracks.
i'm glad he avoided white lies, though im unfamiliar with tunes he dropped from his nupcoming album.
i know i have heard another sunday from a liveset i downloaded, maybe his last bbc radio1 show, but dont remember it much so i must not have liked it to much.
i'll fish it up when i get home and give it another whirl.
i'm glad he added an FKN tune, but would have been happier with how long, instead of why.
i wouldnt have cared for satellite because i've heard it to much.
as for anthem, im not a fan of it in sets, but its tolerable on my mp3 player while im mowing the lawn.
with that said, all together im sure the dj, the show, and the music played delivered great energy and thats what i wish i could be apart of.

But nothing like the terrace set or the 3hrs set he did in the mainroom for Nov 06

Nov 06 was fire, probably the best set it ill ever hear from him!!!!!! Energy all the way through!!!!

And good it was!

I guess since I hadn't seen him since Spirits & WMC 06, I feel that set was sooooooo damn good.

I mean going from WMC 06 to that, was fuking insane. Makes me regret not seeing him June & Nov last year because I now know he had it in him.

Regardless this set was A+ for me and it was up there with the last GOOD time I saw him, which was Nov 05.
I'll catch him again & again but never another WMC set lol.

I just don't think WMC is his time.
SvD for WMC instead

To me this set was awesome. IMO, the only thing that makes the terrace set top this is that he played more ID'able tracks that everyone wanted to hear. Plus he was playing maybe 2 bpms faster upstairs..

It's becoming kinda convenient that i never have money to see him during WMC lol. Never caught his WMC sets. Maybe that's for the best..

Posted by tranceman 23 on Jun-22-2007 19:46:

I thought his bpm was higher from the first song,136?I would have perfered the original mix of for an angel oh well!

Posted by DarkAngel on Jun-22-2007 22:41:

Might sound a bit exaggerative but Far Away ALONE was worth the whole night for me. That feeling I got when I heard that song come on for the first time...it doesn't happen very often.

And no koky it wasn't a boner you perv.

LOVE Far Away.

The end.

Are you kidding where are probably in one of the top 5 cities in the United States, I could find a good place any day of the week. If I didnt have to work. I would go out probably every night, since there is always something to do in Miami.

Big Dj's are a plus, but there tons to be done around here. I never cease to be amazing of how much fun one can ahve around here...

this last time was not even close. his set saturday was all over the place, up and down, but mainly down. i still think he is by far the best dj on the planet. but why he chooses to play this way in miami is beyond me.... maybe he should hit the terrance on sundays morining and see what miami is all about.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Jun-23-2007 18:38:

i think some people who don't like his set is because they can't ID shit.

Unlike the August set which ppl LIKED which was the same as nature one and other sets surrounding that time period.

Terrace set was great.. cuz there was a different vibe and the set up that day was sick plus being outside while he bangs it out is going to always be a great memory. But last weekend was sick. Once we find out more ID's you will see how awesome the set was.

That remix of For An Angel was awesome. PvD playing the air guitar was the cutest!

Well said. And you gotta love that side-to-side dance he does, and the slide too. That shit is contagious. Whether I'm DJing or not, I do it myself.

Ahhhhh glorius days.

Be Cool!

funny the best sets for me are always the one's with the most ID's...

SERIOUSLY!

Those are the best nites...I don't wanna hear a bunch of shit I already have (maybe one or two things) but I'd rather hear shit that is like and be surprised.
