If you don't like Sean Tyas then i don't find ANY reason to go to any of his events. As simple as that. You don't like him,you don't pay,you don't have to suffer. Everything else is bullsh!t. And he has every damn right to play it at his events. He is the DJ after all,people that are going to his events PAID TO LISTEN SEAN TYAS. It's like criticizing Ferry for playing his own tracks,or Armin,or every damn DJ as ALL OF THEM (which are at the same time producers) are playing at least two of their tunes.

Actually, I have been saying this about them for months, and seeing Fila play a set on Friday confirmed it.

There is a difference between having a signature sound and only using the same 3 presets in your productions.

well. yeah, it's not exactly great music. but the funny thing is, if you tweak the kick & bass slightly, you've got a perfectly adequate hard house track. stuff like that has been coming out for years in the ukhh/ukht scenes... cheesy, mindless, & not giving a fuck about anything besides giving clubbers something to bosh to.

this makes me think. what is it about tyas that makes him so much more popular than the likes of technikal, guyver, k90, nick rowland or tonnes of other hard dance producers, when his music is basically the same only played on slightly different synth presets? and why do tyas fans turn a blind eye to the aforementioned?

i guess push come to shove, it's not really tyas i have issues with.. but more the muppets in the trance scene that continue to big him up when he really belongs in a dank dingy underground hard trance club somewhere in london. then again, those who continue to view his stuff as accurately representative of trance (yes, several have posted in this thread) are equally as bad. be ashamed
