is it just me or are the ticket prices ridiculously high?

kabuki events we paid no more than $40...

$80 for final release tickets seems a little bit excessive.

I'll definitely be there for his set at YU, though I'm not thrilled about the venue given the usual quality of music and people that attend the place.

Maybe I can get my copy of for an angel signed after all these years collecting dust.

Raving dont come cheap no more

Posted by Dean Millson on Aug-01-2007 01:39:

It says tickets are $59+BF? What's wrong with that?

was referring to the fact that it was expensive

Posted by charlee on Aug-01-2007 02:10:

Steve and I were talking about your shuffling at dinner last night. There were all sorts of moves going on last year in that main room. Didnt you keep sneaking backstage?

Trent McDermott is a hard trance/dance DJ. Nice guy

Yeah I'm not sure whats with the line up in the main room.

Posted by Anomyst on Aug-01-2007 07:25:

i was asked backstage because i am a good shuffler. pvd likes someone next to him that can dance, it motivates him.

well done trent, look forward to your set

Well my Visa officially runs on December 10th. And i think you stay an extra 28 days before they actually ban you from coming back. So i could technically stay for the second half of his tour Two instalments of PVD would be nice

Heading out tonight in melbourne, dunno where to go on a saturday though. This'll be my first weekend out, loving the city so far. It's just different to everything else further north. And i like what i've seen so far.

ps. anyone have any jobs on offer Or accomodation lol..

Anyway bring on pvd.

Personally, I think it is a lot. In New York you can get a 6 hour set for that price or a few $ cheaper.

When you compare clubbing to the rest of the world, Australia is pretty expensive IMO.

Posted by kixalot on Aug-05-2007 10:44:

Trance is also a difficult thing to find playing in clubs these days. At least in Sydney. So of course they're going to charge more.
