i wish sound was better in that clip..

by far #1

he might be a bad dj as some of you say, he might make mixing mistakes despite his age,or experience. he might be a commercial slave, a mainstream bastard. but one thing...he is #1 entertainer in this business.(imo, along carl cox)
his set, was by faaaaaaaaaaaaaar the best this year. if you went there to forget about everything and have solid 5 hours of energy, music and entertainment, you all got it.otherwise, im really sorry for your 60 bucks and 5 hours. anyway at least you got your lesson.

So how was the sound system? His 2005 TIC had THE best sound system I've ever heard in a large venue. Hopefully this compares to, or tops that.

*Waits 2 weeks for him to come to LA*

What program did you use to edit the quality? I have the same problem, some of my videos are only just a couple mb too big and I want to upload. Lemme know thanks

Sooo...

Who's considering a road trip to DC for TIC Love Outdoors? After last Friday, I think I'm in.

So I guess my input is maybe not going to be very well received because no one knows me here, but I am still thinking about that show on the 19th and it's been a week. We drove from New Hampshire for almost 5 hours to see the show and I really thought it was his best one I've ever seen. I've been into tiesto since In Search of Sunrise 1 came out, I've seen him at Aria and the CEPSUM in Montreal (I used to live there), The Docks in Toronto, Avalon in Boston and now Hammerstein in NYC. Yes I've never been to Europe, and I no haven't seen every other DJ out there. I'm confident that I have downloaded every piece of commercially released music he's put out, and a lot of live sets. I've probably seen him 10 or 12 times now. You could say I'm a big fan.
The Thursday set was just awesome, and while there was a bit of a lull between 2:30 and 3:30 it was still great. No one spilled shit on me, no one pushed me around, security bounced the most fucked up people I saw, there was lots of room to dance near the front, lights were sick. I can't speak for the Friday show, but I just don't know how anyone that went to the Thursday show and stayed the whole time could have anything bad to say about it. One of the smoke machines died halfway through the night? who cares, it's about the music and the fun, and the entertainment, and the friends. Sitting in traffic for almost 8 hours on the way home Friday sucked, but I would do it again in a second.
Road trip to Hartford? Fuck yeah it's only 2 and a half hours away.

well as u read thru most of the posts in this thread, everyone has mostly positive things to say, no worries.

^^ only thing with Hartford's show is that its on a SUNDAYYY which SUCKS for ppl who have to work the next day. If it had been a SATURDAY it would be no question whatsoever

I tend bar so I'm not too worried about it. I am worried about such a small venue and the fact that it says some shit about dressing to impress. I'll do that for a club when I go to Vegas, but Tiesto on a Sunday night in Hartford? I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt or I'm not going. I do want to rent a party bus and get my drink on though.

yeah that IS odd; its an outdoor event..what gives with that

but still, to see an event like this being held in Hartford/not to mention DC; im pretty impressed and i HOPE its successful/happens without TOO MUCH BULLSHIT

I would love to go see him again if I knew I was getting a night filled with the hard edged techy shit that made him famous. God I miss those old Glow and Space sets when he just ripped the place to shreds. Tiesto on top of his game puts AVB and PVD (on top fo their game) to shame. PICS!!!

you and me too, man, those days were pure bliss. i wont ever see him again unless he comes back to space, which likely will be never.

at any rate the vids on youtube look pretty sick, glad to see the positive reviews

thanks to dj_rvk/michaelboogerd & grekos24 for the assistance

nice tracklist nick, and i know its basically a EOL release tour and this may sound disingenuous, but too many of his own tracks for me to have truly enjoyed it.

both nights had similar tracklists (including gouryella the night before), and though they may not look super fresh/impressive on paper it all came together in a big way to create a great party =)

**coaxes neil out of his Space-only tiesto banishment**
