LOL, for some reason, I sensed it a little too until max said otherwise. Goin off topic, Max, great show at Avalan few months back. I had an amazing night and thought you were fantastic!!

I hope you put on another great show in LA soon!

Posted by Zoso on Sep-10-2007 11:00:

Disc 1 is fantastic! I really don't know what to say about CD2.

Posted by Ultravibe! on Sep-10-2007 11:34:

I think it is absolutely not fantastic or amazing...it is very avarage actually, after several times listening. The Hide and seek rmx is great, that's it.

Posted by naeblis on Sep-10-2007 23:57:

CD1 was a very chill enjoyable listen. Very satisfied. That Alanah girl has a great voice, and the Reeves track had some great bass. I thought that the flow was also done pretty well. A great build that kept me interested and feeling good. The 2nd CD is still kinda growing on me, but I don't really care for it all that much. It seems bland to me. I mean, I don't think any of the tracks are necessarily crappy, but it just doesn't really carry the enjoyableness of the first CD. As most have said, definitely liked the first cd better than the second.

Quite right, I believe even ">>"

Opus is easily one of the best mix compilation I have ever heard, I can't stop listening to it, such a beautiful journey ...

Can't wait to give a listen to ISOS6 though, first sampler looked nice, especially this new track from Andy Duguid.

Where did you guys "buy" the CD? Amazon says it's still not available until Sept. 25?

Posted by CarbonFourteen on Sep-12-2007 05:49:

imo "imagination" rocks! the voice is familiar and i just like the lyrics... it's not a totally unique track but still sticks out to me...

it's out in the stores in Antwerp

ok, having my first listen thru

This so far sounds like another enjoyable listen, just like ISOS 5, which i enjoyed, especially the first disc.

I personally like all the sparkly melodies and female vocals, its a nice chill cd to listen to at home or in the car. It's not like a true trance mix cd but tiesto is hardly a true trance DJ anymore.

If you don't like female vocals, stay away. But so far this is just a collection of pretty tame, nice sounding stuff with a heavy emphasis on melodies and female vocals. No real clunkers I don't think, although the Imogen Heap remix totally does not do it justice, and the EnMass and R3Volve mixes are far far superior.

Thumbs up to Glenn Morrison, Deadmau5, Tom Cloud, Maor Levi, and all the nice chill melodic tracks. Thumbs down to the First State track, and all the other ones with the electro basslines. Not what I want to hear from tiesto. We have every other single DJ on the planet, including myself, to play tech house / electro house.

But Nicely done Tijs, an above average 3-3.5ish / 5 for me so far, i will check back to this thread if i hear something i strongly don't like. Way way better than the Elements of Life.

Smiley DJ

Recently had my Delivery of ISOS 6 delivered, and to my suprise, was signed by the man himself. I bought it off cdjshop.com
Ive havent listened to the second Cd yet because I cant stop listening to Cd1. It is immense. I hope Cd2 is as good.
In my opinion, This ISOS6 has started off from where ISOS 3 finished off.

ISOS 4 & 5 were good, but not as good as the 1,2,3 and the latest edition.

The vocals of jes on track 12 are amazing I must add.

Check out here track which she made with mark norman called one moon circling. Its mind blowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The unreleased G&D Unplugged Mix was great from the live sample I heard a few years back. Too bad it was never released.

Do you have any clue how long the magikal Tijsdust takes to ferment that Blackhole hand-places into every ISOS Diskette? There's not enough laxative in the world to make the process any quicker either.
