Economically, we are allready fully dependant on the USA. As other nations rise up to the competition, I can't see this being a sound plan for the future. Canada has enough resources and talent to make itself a shining beacon to world trade, yet we consistently take the path of least resistance, and flock to our southern 'brethren'.

If you can find an economically viable plan to sell Canadian products as cheaply and efficiently to other nations as Canada does to US, I'd love to hear about it.

Haha, actually I was with my buddy and his brother in law from the States last night and we got on the subject of this so-called "Union" and the guy from the States said that the ONLY good thing out of this for us Canadians is access to cheap Mexican labour.
