Oh it's not even Oz issit, it's the wonderful inbred world of the Pitcairn Islands, where rape of 7 year olds is a popular pastime. Scary place.

I dont think you can really say that its over priced, you get a lot for your money.

Xone 42 - 600
2nd hand efx - 130

DJM 800 - 1000

you do the maths...

Just a guess from your pictures, but do you live in Kentish Town?

Dunno

Cool...I lived in Wimbledon for a few years...

The only thing to moan about is that you don't seem to be able to use the LPF and HPF at the same time...maybe I'm wrong..fantastic mixer for that price.

Well TA didn't have a flag for the Isle of Man.

Sure you can. You simply press any combination of the filter buttons you want to apply, and they light up. Same as the 92.

Unless you mean using them independently on different channels, in which case you need the 92 to do that.

Yep..that's what I ment...you can only use HPF on all...or LPF on all..that's not a big deal though...sometimes I like to use LPF on one and HPF on the other to mix in/out..especially when one track has really agressive highs and the other is relaxed. I'm using a Xone 3D.

In the first pic there's a housing block through the window that looks so much like one in Kentish town.

Ted - Isle of Man! No wonder you chose pitcairn island! Small breeding pool on islands...some folks end up with with three legs etc.

Don't believe me?..........

Just like anything in life, we live to our means.....

I dare say we'd all love to own a Ferrari, Lamborghini or [insert supercar brand here], but we can't all afford one. But with what we can afford we make the most of, and hopefully enjoy it to the fullest.

I got a 92 recently. I then got to thinking: wouldn't a Xone 3D be a lot more fun? But actually no, it's just a desire for something of a higher value and therefore gives a materialistic persons ego a boost. I decided to curb my enthusiasm. Some of us don't need a top price mixer, because we 'just mix tracks' and I think that perhaps I have an over specified mixer in the 92. There's plenty for me in it and lots of features I know I'll never use. Let's just get on with what we've got.

It's too easy these days to get 'beer goggles' when buying new tech, you don't always need the best you can afford. At the end of the day it's you that will shine in the mix, not the hardware.

That said, don't buy crap.

[/drunk and opinionated yet no offence intended post.]
