Clinton repeatedly waged war in Iraq independent of the UN.

Clinton used NATO and bombed Yugoslavia almost back to the frikken stone age.

and don't forget H.R. 4655

Now he's going to ask you for proof about Clinton, and he'll prolly ask me for proof that western media takes advantage of the Associated Press.
At some point he's prolly gonna say that tranceaddict.com is a propaganda tool and to prove him otherwise.

...but he can never be wrong

i know smart people. i'm not one, but i know some. he's not smart.

he's young and he thinks he is. but he's not.

Let's have some fun with some of these conspiracy theories.
I think I uncovered something huge...maybe this is how the US government makes so many people drop out of high school. They force our media to play certain songs, and the 5 major corporations ensure that these are played in every major market:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=vum3qgoh0x4

That song is currently the number one song in the country:
http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/char...llboard+Hot+100

After hearing that song the kids are so brainwashed into spending all their time crankin that soldier boy, YOU!

Or maybe, just maybe, enough people just like that shit that they've been requesting it in the clubs and calling up their radio stations.
Nah, it can't be. That'd just be too far fetched

Posted by CHRles on Oct-01-2007 03:58:

double post...must be the government's fault.

If you really want to follow the letter of the law, the US Constitution is technically an illegal document.

The Constitutional Convention's mandate was to make a revision to the Articles of Confederation, not to create a radically different document. Technically, the Founding Fathers overstepped their bounds, and thus your pinnacle of law and order was born in illegality.

You refer repeatedly to the Constitution and the principle of self-determination, which is fine, but they aren't unassailable ideas. No ideas are, especially those imperfectly conceived of by man.

Okay, now there's possible talks the US has plans to hit Revolutionary Guard facilities directly, rather then Iranian nuclear facilities.
http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/...08fa_fact_hersh

Again, 6 pages detailing a lot of history and facts, as well as speculations, different scenarios, and how they might play out.

Posted by hardcore trancer on Oct-01-2007 07:12:

If this actually happens,it would be a declaration of war and Iran will hit back hard.

FFS this admin is beyond insane.

Posted by CHRles on Oct-01-2007 07:20:

hardcore trancer, feel free to read the article all the way through (6 pages). Notice that Iran isn't painted in a one-dimensional light. The article talks about how many Iraqis who are now in power once sought refuge in Iran, or that over a million Iranians travelled on pilgrimages to Iraq in the past year.
Even if you talk to US army vets and ask them about the people of Iran many will tell you that Iran is a country with a large educated and cultural base, and they'd always hoped these people would find a way to gain control of Iran. I think thats what the US is hoping it can do. The big question is whether this is possible at the present time.

You'll also notice in the article that a lot of former CIA people have different views of Iran and its government.

Posted by CHRles on Oct-01-2007 07:41:

You'll also notice that Israel's biggest problem with Iran obtaining nuclear power isn't so much Iran, but that it will ultimately make its way to Hezbollah or Hamas. You can be sure that neither Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, nor Jordan or Lebanon wants to see these groups obtaining such technology.
Arab leaders have been pretty alarmists as of late as far as getting things done with regards to peace between Israel and the palestinians. They're very worried about the shape the entire Middle East will be in if Iran gets too involved in regional politics.

What didn't you understand?

Are you going to tell me a personal affair is worse than an illegal war?

sure but, again, your tenuous grasp of recent history has failed to support your own ideology.

How is Clinton worse than Bush would be my question.

Also explain the legality of occupation of sovereign foreign countries.

You defend Saudi Arabia, but get angry when I point out the hypocrisy of sanctioning Cuba. That's what we were talking about two pages ago. I love how we always move from the topic at hand to completely different subjects unrelated to what we were debating in the first place. You and charles are EXPERTS at that..

ok. you vommited this:
quote:
Clinton operated under international law

then i pointed out your hypocracy stating that Clinton, on numerous occasions, violated your reverance for foriegn sovereignty. something that you tout on here everyday as if it was written by God himself.

the same goes with you vommiting this:
quote:
country's like Cuba, which compares little in commodity power to the Saudi's, get embargoed specifically because of "human rights".

when clearly it wasn't "human rights" and Castro had violated OUR soveriegnty and trust and by ANY "international standard", screwed every Cuban generation for the last 50 years. for some reason you fail to admit that as well.

IOW you really don't have a grasp on not just recent American history, (prolly b/c you've admitted already that the "Internet has set you free" ) you haven't the slightest clue as to what our Founding Fathers were capable of in their time but yet you invoke their sacredness for your own myopic political worldview when clearly they would have stood their ground against murdering communist despots seizing their assets abroad.

and don't get me f**kin started on you legitimizing terrorists

quote:
Also explain the legality of occupation of sovereign foreign countries.

sure. the soveriegn elected government of Iraq doesn't want us to un-occupy yet and Saddam was the real occupier. if you don't believe me ask Bill Clinton since you're so confident in referring to him.

just look up 'Public Law 105-338' on the internet and it will "set you free"
