So far, I've liked

Justice - Cross
Tiger Stripes - Safari
Fanu - Daylightless

Big one should be the new Burial album, his first was my favourite album of 2006.

Not really feeling the albums from The Field / Gui Boratto at all even though I've been hearing tunes off them for months now.

Tom Middleton - Lifetracks is a brilliant album aswell. It's deffinitely a contender for album of the year in my book.

It's great and all, but not really mindblowing imo, and it felt more like a collection than an album.

Exploring The Tributaries is the best for me, what a beautiful album.

No offense, but I thought it was mighty awful. This madness over the 80's synth-pop and electroclash must stop. It was fun when the revival first began though.

I haven't heard much of 2007 albums, but from what I have it's probably Animal Collective "Strawberry Jam".

Mice Parade's self-titled album and Matthew Dear's "Asa Breed" also get honorable mentions.

Waiting anxiously to hear the new Underworld, but for now Aril's album is the clear frontrunner.

I don't know why I even posted this. Matthew Dear's "Asa Breed" is without a doubt the clear winner, and I completely forgot to even mention it the first time I posted in this thread.

Seriously. Get it.
