Maybe whoever does the trading or aquisition of players should also get whatever nba franchise managament of the year. Polar opposite of the knicks management!! Remember only championships apply to so many teams this season but there will be only one!
i'd bet that kobe and phil really don't care about 'awards' right now. they're trying to win a championship, and for the moment kid kobe is trying not to break his damn spaghetti finger. a lot will be made about what happens this year with all the big trades and hoopla, but however the cookie crumbles, i'm very excited about the lakers FUTURE too. not every team can say that right now...

Golden State is averaging 110.8 points per game this season. That's pretty damn impressive regardless of how little defense they play.
