As far as my memory serves: Riverside Park begins at around 66th street & Columbia University is 50 more blocks north.

i would just like to report that i was walking in bk and some old bum gave me a weird look... definitely not a good place to live or walk through as this evidence suggests

you're correct, but she said riverBANK park. That starts about 20 blocks north of columbia.

i was walking outside of my office today in midtown and some investment banker gave me a weird look, clearly midtown is not a place people want to work or walk through.

Try walking through Central Park at sundown. Try riding the subway in DC at night. Try finding your way to your parked car in down town Miami after partying your ass off @ Space all night. Try getting lost in your car in the outskirts of LA on a Friday night. It's all the same....people can get robbed, mugged, shot, killed anywhere. A bunch of people in NYC have been getting held up by some hoodlum in the subways lately. It's called street smarts.....let your guard down and you can become a victim anywhere.....not just Queens, BK, and the Bronx.

c'mon guys. CLEARLY this guy loves living in NJ. He's living rent free in his bedroom at his parents place. If he likes it so much there, he can just stay there. no loss to me and to the rest of us. Definitely smells like a clubplanet reject. Here are his jersey friends right here!

Dude is just being a douche. I realized that last night when he was denying basic principles of economics.

LOL wow

if i move to new york because my aunt lives there, thats increased demand in new york. that means that the preference of an aunt living there is included in demand.

the presence of an aunt is not an indicator of quality or betterness! yet it's included in demand! that's why demand is worthless as an estimator of betterness! because preferences that have nothing to do with how good new york is or how it is better than nj are still included!

im very high right now but i had to put you in your place. shame on you

It has nothing to do with being a douche. It has everything to do with being a pussy. If he gets nervous about a bum staring at him, he should come on my commute and see what I see. (ask my friends I tell them the stories.....)You dont belong in new york if you cant toughen up a little (especially mentally because people tend to leave you alone but you are still gonna see shit that is extremely disturbing.....).

....on that note, dont live in the south bronx. that is one place I would have to agree with.

dude, now you're just being an idiot. if you moved to ny because your aunt lived there and you had a choice, then it's your preference. if not, you're not included in demand anyway because living in your aunts house will not reduce vacant housing. seriously, think through your arguments before you post them.

and demand is a great indicator of preference. The major components of demand are necessity and preference. Since very few people NEED to live in a specific place, demand in the case of housing is mostly preference. Also, presumably people prefer things because they are better or have a higher quality (or sometimes because it is cheaper - but nyc certainly doesn't fall into that category). Therefore, the logical inference is that a place with high demand is BETTER (without taking into account subsidized housing).

Don't post anymore economic shit, you clearly don't have a full grasp of the concepts.

Oh BTW....someone who is high on a thursday night at 3:30am could never put me in my place. When you're old enough to get into a club without a fake id then come talk to me, you might learn something.

Again stay out of Brooklyn or get your ass shot.... I dodged a few coming home today, steven has actually witnessed a few shootings in brooklyn and been shot himself right down the street from my house.

True sir,,I saw my fair share of shootings...That's how Sheila and myself met,,when my friend Woody got shot...Sheila was stood next to the shooter and I was stood next to Woody in my bar...The cops wouldn't let me leave the crime scene,,I spent over 24 hours drenched in my friends blood...Sheila stopped by the bar to see me the following day to check how I was doing...

Woody survived BTW and was at Love for the Originals night,,,he's actually in Kerryns photos...
