The emFire team rocks.

I like it, but I can't help but feel sometimes that it sounds like a watered down James Holden production.

Charlie May's new tunes are NOT good. I can't understand how such bad, boring, over-produced-for-no-reason-with-lots-ofnonsensesounds, generic, boring (again),nonsense, boring and boring music gets 9 pages. Just because the name "Sasha" is written everybody goes mad, OMG sashaaa is so innovative he is the goddd ohhh. Then you blame ASOT whores...

SASHA SUCKS BIG TIME! (Ok Charlie May's new tunes but then again, they are not his...)

It IS better than the last two releases though...(Mongoose and Park In The Shade)

If you're saying I think Sasha is a Godly producer along with the rest of his posse then you're wrong

its not just charlie may, the imput is split equally between forbes and sasha as well.

personally I love their new stuff.. not just because its under the sasha monkeir but because I feel theyre evolving with the rest of the progressive sound and adding their own distinctive flavor to it

Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact, that he's great.

Nah, I'd like to hope most of us have been around long enough to completely ignore posts like that.

Kids who say such things are pretty much screaming "I'm a fucking gimp tosser who you shouldn't pay any attention to" at the top of their lungs all day, every day.

I'm not a kid, you just have terrible taste in music and an adolescent tendency to be a big-dj's (5yh position in dj-mag!) groupie...

Oh sorry guys about charlie may, didn't know that there was a whole band behind these tracks.

That'd be a big shame, because I really bloody loved that intro.

You can always masterfully edit that intro on AL > and use it

And by the way, if you cannot do it yourself you cannot judge the tracks. (jk)

I don't read RA.

Frankly, all music press can go fuck themselves.

There are some legality issues with doing that - and I would never be able to come up with the same quality

I'm curious as to what "legality" issues you're talking about?

On top of that, I edit tunes all the time using nothing more than the source audio file - and the sound quality loses absolutely nothing.

Posted by DJ Blitzkrieg on Jan-13-2008 18:33:

This has to be my least favorite Sasha tune off the new emFire label. I loved Coma and Mongoose but this one just doesn't move me...

As far as I understood, he was referring to me re-editting the original clip (from myspace or wherever it was - I can't recall and am too lazy to look back) and playing it out - that's not exactly legit. I may have misunderstood though, and if I did, by all means let me know.

All that said, I have no idea what AL stands for - so it might completely change my understanding

[/sounding really stupid & clueless]

Posted by RJT on Jan-13-2008 19:56:

As long as you aren't trying to sell it there's nothing that isn't "legit" about it.
