There isnt' any option of hard ticket or printout instant ticket on wanttickets, just will call. I don't trust will call, and more often than not it means standing in yet another line.


But I bought one anyway lol!

Usually will call shouldn't be a problem, thats why im even MORE convinced the staff at WH are total idiots. having ur CC and a email confirmation of what you paid for, i mean thats just totally idiot-proof imo.

well the thing is I would have totally purchased the tickets online and had them mailed to me. However, by the time we had returned from our trip, the mailing option was no longer there. which sucked.

There was never a mailing option for them. I'm not sure if want tickets even prints hard tickets.

Yea, that's true, this is a Massive Party so it will be much more organized than some of the other parties I've been to there. But it's not Mike I'm worried about, he's awesome, I just have this gut feeling that WH will find some way to mess this up, lol. I guess I shouldn't be so pessimistic. We shall see what happens

i think wantickets usually does provide hard tickets/mailing option at least for the first two weeks of a presale. nah theres no ticketfast option which is is totally i think theres something in the fine print on the website that says that you need to allow 5 business days to receive tickets via mail. thats if the ticket promotion was started early enough. if not, then maybe they just only did willcall but i wouldnt know since i only started checking the site after December 10th. but since the event isnt till December 29th I *was* perplexed why there was no mail option. surely 19 days was enough to receive a ticket via mail.

tru tru...but ur not being pessimistic, just basing it on past experiences. and yes im sure that it being a Massive Party both guestlists and willcall will be guaranteed.

Maybe the promoter selects their options, but for this and for tyas/Patterson there was no mail or printfast option. Or for the Tyas @ Sully. NO other options. So that's what I'm gonna lean towards, it's up to the promoter to select their ticket options. And we're back to the staff being ignorant a-holes.

normally i wouldn't trust a list BUT i do trust mike so i'm fairly confident that there won't be many if any problems at the door.

any guestlist?

I trust Mike too. But, it's the staff with the list you can't trust; look at Prydz/core @ pacha... they did their part but oops, pacha lost it, or ate it, or did who knows what with it. In general, I'm a fan of pro-buying my tickets, just so I know I can spend all the money left in the pocket on capn' drinks.

agreed i prefer knowing i have a ticket but no way i'm going to buy a ticket and have my name on some list which they mysteriously misplace because i refuse to pay twice...oh well we'll see.

Are guestlist and will call usually on the same line or are they different lines? i dont remember, its been that long that ive been to Webster. all i do remember is that guestlist girl/staff is usually clueless in general and that clubplanet lists are usually never honored. LOL
