not Jimmy Fallon
Zach Galifianakis
Russell Brand
Pablo Francisco
Nick Swardson
edit:
the dude is fucking brilliant.
Jimmy Carr is pretty good.
Not really traditional stand-up, but I love henry rollins
jerry sadowitz
bill bailey
billy connely
harry hill
Bill Burr. The guy gets heckled by a crowd in Philadelphia, gets pissed off, and insults them thoroughly for the rest of his act.
Really surprised no one mentioned Louis CK yet. His last special floored me. He had a joke about rating how bad a person you were by how long you waited after 9/11 to masturbate. "Me, I rubbed one out between the two towers falling".
As for Dane Cook, I think it's not that he's funny, but you have to admit that he's very good at delivery, and people respond more to that than his actual jokes. If you read his material, its nothing

| Originally posted by DJ_Eternal Yeah, that first one was from his New York gig in 2005, but his first ever US gig was a HBO special hosted by Whoopi Goldberg back in 1990. You should be able to find it on youtube. It's one of the classic stand-up routines. I was a little disappointed with his material over the past 6-7 years. He's gown downhill in my opinion. |
Some of my favorite bits
Dave Chappelle
Chris Rock
Jeff Dunham (he's an illusionist but he's very funny)
