Decent result for Oly!!!! Didnt cop a goal so important...Weve scored 7 goals in 3 away games in CL, so scoring away from home not a problem. Quietly confident they can get a goal draw!!!!!

If olympiakos score first next leg, it will be on!!!!!!!!!!!!

why are liverpool so shit in the league but play well in the UCL?

i have been asking the same question about Liverpool.

well it's happened, Chelsea didn't make it through the carling cup despite the odds tipped in their favour. Chelsea done 1-2 tottenham spurs....woke up this morning and was fvcking well pissed off! the news leading up to the game has been unsettling, the manager not giving his full squad ahead of the game and Terry super annoyed that he may have missed the final due to match fitness.....Avram is unsettling the players and adding to the already growing pressure of finals....Need to watch the replay to get fully upset, but there's 3 more cups to go....it's hotting up!

Anyone watch the mariners vs newcastle??? worst game of football I have ever watched. No build in play, mariners hardly penetrated, they just don't have the ability to working in close quarters...newcastle at least a few counter opportunities that at least led to one goal based on an error from a mariners player. and there was a penalty right at the end on two occasions in my view. 1. aloisi was tugged by his shirt as he went for the header into goal. 2. when the corner was struck one of newcastle's players quite clearly hand balled the ball.

The ref has a lot of explaining to do, when they watch the replay's the players shouldn't feel that they won clearly, more like cheated through.

on other news, jose mourinho rumour of taking over Barcelona getting closer to the truth!! now that would be fvcking amazing if he takes on the team....

was a great game the Carling Cup. lots of Chelsea supporters have since said it was a micky-mouse cup, etc etc. It may not be as reveered as some other trophies, however i'm pretty sure Chelsea would be quite happy had they won the game.

Tottenham were the better team from the outset, and i was sitting there at 430 in the morning trying to keep a lid on it during the extra time period.

a very entertaining game.... not happy with Chimbonda's response to being substituted, but a great overall performance by Spurs

Posted by Lister Cooray on Feb-27-2008 00:34:

And what about Eduardoouch!

Man u closing the gap after smashing the magpies again. 11 goals in two matches against them - god they are in some trouble.

Keegan has to go asap.

yeah man u are firing hard.

chelsea aren't coping with avram grant, it's really starting to piss everyone off...can't believe he was going to bench terry and lampard...he's been good but this cup was surely in the bag and he missed his chance.

i still can't believe they he got as the manager , they should've searched more for more qualified magnager than him.

Posted by christos on Feb-27-2008 02:34:

yteah I know, i'm actually over Roman Abramovich's involvement in things, he makes decisions that suit himself and not the whole club...hence the reason why jose mourinho left....fvck i miss the cvnt

Posted by christos on Feb-28-2008 00:26:

Posted by Lister Cooray on Feb-28-2008 02:09:

yep

Posted by christos on Feb-28-2008 02:39:

mad, love playing in manager mode, you get to do the transfers etc and play the season through with cups along the way.

btw, news just in:

avram is looking at getting the chop if he doesn't win any of the cups since carling cup loss...barca's current manager is hot on the list for a chelsea move....looks like Jose Mourinho is a certainty for managing barca...intersting shit!

get it for ps3 much better man, it's a totally different game

wtf is going on with Gallas...his antics against birmingham were childish, his days are numbered....I thought anelka was a sook, this guy takes the cake.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/li...in_page_id=1951

Posted by PauLie_C on Feb-28-2008 03:22:

yeh i know mate!!!

Over passionate, he didnt need to do what he did, not what a captain should be doing, but i am glad he is that passionate.

Posted by christos on Feb-28-2008 03:31:

yeah I agree be passionate, but don't take it to the point where your team loses respect in you....he if anyone should be the most composed out of the lot, to lead the team when moments get tough.

i think you should stop reading the crappy uk newspapers for your news reports pana...

thats the 2nd time clichy has given away a cheap pen in virtually the same circumstances..id be pretty fuckin livid too

quick question? how does it feel to be a bandwagon supporter?

Posted by PauLie_C on Feb-28-2008 20:58:

arent all chelsea supporters bandwagon supporters???

STipsy, everton looking the goods aye!!!

fuck i love Timmy Cahill, i wish he came to Arsenal!

Hopefully you boys can get 4th spot instead of the underperforming Liverpool scum.

Posted by christos on Feb-28-2008 22:57:

yeah I love a bandwagon esp when there's a band playing black sabbath heaven and hell. i've supported chelsea

the gamiese poosti! aren't everton supporters the same supporters whose club almost seem to get close to the top and ALWAYS fail. Never win ANY cups only now seem to have a real threat Yakubu.

Paulie_C now tell me mate, what could Tim Cahill bring to Arsenal? I'd reaaalllyyy like to know what YOU think and stop jumping on the bandwagon of other people's comments!?

Arsenal and Man U on the other hand have nearly ALWAYS been at the top of the table....surely all Arsenal supporters are bandwagon supporters based on that logic?
