I loooooveee when JZ plays breaks....brought back memories of his and Sasha's tag-team set on te Annie Nightingale show years back...in fact, he played some of the same tracks!!!!!!!!!

JZ is amazing when it comes to the technical side of DJ with everything he does, and I was even impressed with Deadmau5 and what he was doing with his equipment

I believe Billy and Gil were just hiding out upstairs chilling listening to the music.

So much fun! What a monster set! Definitely one of G&D's better performances over the years of seeing them play.

Was nice to finally meet you Alain...thanks for the cds! Liked your set too

Gil and Billy, you guys are awesome. So glad you made it up!

I don't think I ran into any other TAs there...was up on stage most of the night. The sound at first was realllly bassy, but I think Josh complained and they adjusted it better.

I wouldn't have missed this night for anything...it was a special one!

I miss out last night. But the last time I saw G&D at Ruby (about this time last year) the bass was really cranked up. When I was up on the second floor balcony - I thought my heart was gonna jump out of my chest from all of the reverb.

I can only imagine it was much the same this time.

BTW, I have to give big props to Zabiela for using the plain old black MacBook ... he doesn't even use the MacBook Pro...no real need to overall...lol

+1

I think that's why I'm up there like every other week. It's my home away from home.

Wow what a weekend, going since Wednesday night through the anniversary - then Sharam on Saturday, followed by the undergrounds then Benny Benassi on Sunday. No wonder why I slept through Monday I did wake up to hit the gym though

good times, wish you could have made it Friday too - that night was nothing but laughs

thanks for introducing yourself and sharing those kind words! Your welcome, hope you enjoy it and feel free to give any honest input on it

....................................................................

The anniversary events were so much fun! went by way too fast though, especially Friday night. I had a blast playing with Syd and closing off the set with Jark Prongo's "Movin Through Your System" was awesome on that soundsystem

Here are some pics from the night

i missed all the parties on friday night in order to get my work done and rest up before the weekend started. a couple of my friends hit up sharam on saturday, but i'm not a fan of his music (or his prices) so the bunch of us went to base @ vessel for oscar g instead. DAMN! what a party that was... great vibe, great music, very underground feel afterwards we caught taj @ 1015 and cuervo @ endup and by then i was too exhausted to make it out to reza's rooftop gig sunday afternoon so i went home and slept till monday
