look, I think the Rangers have a great shot! I picked 4 players of theirs in my playoff pool for a reason. I thought Gerber was the difference maker. He made 49 saves!!! Without him, the Sens would have lost 10-3! You're right on the wraparound he was a little out of position, but he was solid for most of that game. He had no chance on the skyora tic tac toe from Crosby and Malkin also. And what alternative do they have? Emery? Maybe we'll see him for game 3 for a big shakeup back in Ottawa??


If anything, I'm rooting for the Sens to knock off the Pens. I'd MUCH PREFER to face the Sens in a later round, rather than having to face Pittsburg! But at this point, the Sens look toast. Spezza looks like he's playing injured and Heatley can't do much with Martin Lapointe as a useless winger.

lol you are such an ass. seriously. First, Rangers arent going to win the cup. duh, I am a realist, not a dumbass. There is no ticker-tape machines coming outta the closet here. I *just* want them to win against our bitter rivals, and anything more is a plus.

Second, I wrote that when Avery scored the goal that secured the game 1 win, and FUCK YEAH I WAS EXCITED. Game One is always the most important game, esp with the rangers who are retarded and get a defeated attitude quite easily. he made up for it with that beautiful shot though. The officiating was just horrible all around...botched penalty delay call, botched icing, non calls, calls for penalties that weren't even close to being penalties....but that last trip WAS a trip.

Komisarek is not 100% either, it's very obvious. Hopefully they'll play more like in Game 1 in Boston tomorrow and Tuesday. SWEEP SWEEP!!

FINALLY! I was expecting him to explode in game 1, he could've had 2 goals last night, that one timer he had late in the game.

Either way if you compare both games, Boston did outplay us in the first 2 periods it seemed. They were finishing there checks, one thing that the Canadiens did to them in Game 1, which no one was really expecting.

Hopefully the Habs pull it out.. 'cause if Anaheim gets knocked out by Dallas, then this may be the Habs best chance to go all the way, imo

Savard was the 6th man in on that goal on the delayed penalty...but WHERE was the infraction? I couldn't see anything that warranted a call. I still love hockey but the NHL needs to scrap this two referee system and calling so many goddamn penalties, especially in OT.

We could have stolen that game tonight since Price was making crazy saves. Fucking frustrating! Well I hope they keep their composure, SKATE HARDER, STOP BEING FANCY, CRASH THE NET MORE AND PUT SOME GODDAMN PUCKS ON NET! Higgins and Plekanec have been invisible in this series and Markov has been disappointing as well. I still think O'Byrne should be in there.

If Boston ties this series on Tuesday, we could be in trouble because Boston have been playing harder and seem to want it more.

when Tom Kostopoulos is your best skater out there, you know you have a problem. We had some chances in the OT, but couldn't bury it, it's too bad. Boston played a great game, we just didn't take advantage of our opportunities. Thomas was strong too.

In some respect, I'm kind of glad they lost 1 game. They need to come back to Earth and refocus. Hopefully we'll hear less of "16 for 25" etc etc etc, and concentrate on winning this series first. Let's hope they come back on Tuesday more energized and shutdown Lucic and Savard, pretty much their only offensive threats to date!!

oh, and can someone tell Kovalev to stop deking through the entire team!! We almost got burned many times tonight
