Dunno, I thought it was a great game. I went to see it with a friend of mine who coaches U15 football and he brought 2 of his players with him.
Way before we even got to NY, Fucking mexicans were giving us a finger on the turnpike coz my friend was wearing his blue and white Messi jerzey.
Once we got to the stadium I was speachless - sea of people, loud music, kids playing football between cars - it was amazing. I just grinned from ear to ear. We also had a really good view of the filed - we sat in section 110, almost mid-field. The only thing that sucked balls was that we sat under the shed and had no breeze. It was sooo fucking hot, I was sweating like in a steamroom. Though bonus - had a really hot girl sit next to me with a dress that was cut so low that when she bent down to pick up her water bottle, I saw her tits each time. She had very nice pair of C cups with very yummy nips. Her mom was cock-blocking my view occasionaly but those few glimpses I got made the game that much more interesting. I thought US was going to get smacked but they did much better than expected. Argentina did not really play hard at all and US had a much better 2nd half than 1st. At least they kept the pressure on.
Overall, it was a good choice but fuck, getting out of the parking lot was virtually impossible! It would have taken us nearly 1 hour to get out, so we just stopped and my buddie's players got out and played footie with several other kids on the lot. It was a great experience and I hope more matches like this take place in US. I just wish these games meant something, not friendlies - so that teams have something to play for.
See ya at the next big soccer game (I hope)
Argentina was probably testing strategies but none of them seemed to have worked
Very sad the fact Argentina couldn't beat US. However, for such a young team, they have come very far compared to other countries. Money talks.
