It has to be killing RJT not to reply.

The Hornets looked great last night - Chris Paul set the tempo and got his teammates (particularly West) going. I think it's about time that people stop doubting the Hornets. This kid is for real, and whatever the NBA says, he was the true MVP this season.

eh, looks like atlanta is done. down by 30 in the second half.

Celtics seemed to respond pretty well to their first game facing elimination

Trust me, Jeff - on this forum in particular there's absolutely no way I'm going to get into any kind of pissing match over whether or not Brett Favre (or anyone else, really) actually sucks. The Sports forum is remarkably like MD in how defensive/aggro people can get about their own opinions

(Also, I'm confident history will vindicate Favre, so I see no need for me to worry about it )

So, for those of you who've also been watching this Atlanta/Boston game, two questions:

1. Does it look like this is the first game this whole post season where Boston has played as well as they did during the regular season? The first 6 games in this series were painful to watch.

2. That Williams foul - how fucking classless/unnecessary was that?

Looked like a WWE type move. Arm around the neck and drop to the floor. Kaboom!

Celtics are good but it hurts to wait until game 7.

I still can't get why Jazz fans are still booing Derek Fisher

Posted by Sinatra on May-10-2008 03:45:

Because they never let things go.. Only have professional team in Utah.

"The offer is reportedly for $24 million over four years, making D'Antoni one of the league's highest-paid coaches"

New Knicks Coach is Suns old coach

I think he is good coach but he def is doing this for the $$$.

coach with great team = deserves big money
coach with team crap = does not deserve big money

Knicks are the opposite of everything

Hopefully isiash is cleaning the restrooms by now

i wonder who the bulls will go after now. i didn't think skiles was a bad coach and was sad to seem him go. it makes even less sense now since it looks like they didn't have a plan to go forward with.

Seems like the Celtics have forgotten how to play on the road

Posted by Kapedano on May-11-2008 00:58:

I think it was a bad move for the Suns. Just because you lost to the Spurs, does not mean you need to change your coach. A lot of people have lost to the Spurs these past 11 years, does not mean they all should change their coach. Same goes for Dallas.

d'antoni and avery johnson. great regular season records, poor postseason records. sorry to say that's how the sports world goes. if you can't put out in the playoffs, it's no good.

but yeah the pieces are coming together for new york to become the dirty boys of the 90s again ......

yeah 0-4 in the playoffs is a factor.

Only thing I liked is how I been saying earlier about lebron doing all good and rest of his team missing shots then giving him the ball over and over and he scores at will. Well if lebron is shut down and cleavland has bad shooting thats what happened the first two games of this series. Last night game "even though on the road for the C's" The cleav team overall had a great FG percentaage and lebron knew that was the case by being apart of it and not playing like old iverson 4/31

Posted by LeopoldStotch on May-11-2008 15:03:

from the jazz-lakers game on friday night ....

i consider this up there, just because:
1- it was a playoff game
2- during that time, the lakers were making a run to comeback from a deficit.
3- there were 2 f'n guys on kobe, and he was still able to split them, and make the rebound and dunk.

He got ball faked so bad a couple of games ago.

The Jazz v Lakers game was intense

There were so many stupid mistakes on behalf of the Lakers too, sooo many fouls. And a big wtf to Turiaf getting ejected, totally unwarranted.

CLE - L. James (Pts:21, Reb:6, Ast:13)

These look like Chris Paul stats.

Like the saying goes there is no place like home.

PS. If orlando loses !!! thats my main team!Lots of money its quick fixes. Not solutions *see knicks

Bill Russell seems like a cool guy - I mean, he even listens to Brian Eno!
