Deadmau5 was awesome, but my crew experienced something that will x-list Swerve FOREVER.

That stupid dyke COP apparently told one of my friends to leave a bottle of water he had, and when my friend didn't (because he honestly didn't hear her), one of the bouncers JUMPED him, wrestled him to the ground, basically dislocated his shoulder, and arrested him. FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER!

Bong tried to go over and talk to the COP, basically just saying 'Hey, he's cool, he didn't hear you!" and they jumped him as well, DRAGGING him across the pavement! He has severe road rash on one arm, BLOOD ALL OVER HIS SHIRT, and asphalt EMBEDDED in his skin! We all witnessed it, and the dumb dyke bitch was trying to lie to our faces, saying they both assaulted an officer! Other than that, all she would say to any of us is "Want to go to jail? Want to go to jail?" There are also witnesses to her repeatedly throwing racial slurs toward Bong.

When I tried calling the club later to ask what police jurisdiction the stupid COP was from, they offered NO help!

If anyone else actually witnessed this, please send me a message, I'd like to talk with you. Needless to say, we're already speaking with attorneys.

Because this involved Swerve staff, myself, my 12+ friends in attendance, and various others who have heard of this incident WILL NOT return to this venue. There isn't actually a law that forbids carrying water out of a club, so they had NO RIGHT to physically harm people over it!

I'll post the pictures of Bong later, he looks like someone beat him up!

wtf! I had no idea about this. I need to make some calls

Sounds like I missed a good night... SOO pissed I missed Faxing Berlin with the Accapela. Heard that in his essential mix and absolutely loved it. That should get a release.

BiPolar: Sorry to hear about that incident. Hope your friend is okay in the end.

So where was the afterparty?

Posted by iammesol on Aug-09-2008 19:33:

Proper Deadmau5'd

Go go gadget Zabiela hair!

Tom pissing nonchalance

Donny & Tom (still nonchalant)

Donny's crush

Fuck yeah!

Sydney Blu - Give It Up For Me

Deadmau5 - Faxing Berlin w/ Morgan Page - The Longest Road (Acapella)

Soooooo epic!

Damn, Maggie! I knew Wetbar's bouncers are crazy when then they want to be, but that's just fucked up.

Haha she was poured into those cute little shorts.

Sam I don't think I've ever seen you so wasted. Rofl

Posted by Calamar on Aug-09-2008 21:10:

... I think it was a good show? I didn't even drink that much (maybe?), but I can't really remember anything past Shadows Movement, long before Deadmau5 even started. Hopefully I stayed for the entire event. My little sister and her friend informed me that I burst into their apartment after three o'clock, cackling uncontrollably, stating that I had an awesome time, but repeating the phrase "I don't want to talk about it." So, I hope it was just so great that I couldn't find words to describe it.

I do vaguely remember the intensely awesome mau5head (only because I took some photos) and accidentally elbowing quite a few people. I don't remember seeing any familiar ATLTA faces, but my apologies if I elbowed any of you.

Any more photos to job my memory would be much appreciated. And where the fuck was the afterparty? Seriously ...

Dude, we totally talked. You said you weren't enjoying the electro-housey beginning. I asked what you wanted to hear, and you said Faxing Berlin and Not Exactly. lol

Doesn't happen that often, but my that was fun. Also, you have.

St Patrick's Day

I thought he ruined Faxing Berlin with that acapella. Arguru was the highlight for me.

Sucks to hear people got jumped.

Yeah, you kind of bumped into me. I was going to say hi, but could tell you were pretty out of it and knew you probably wouldn't even remember me. Do you even remember talking with me after Armin? I remember you were pretty messed up then too, but were at least able to communicate.

I believe the after party was at Dreamz. I was up on the stage near the end and that's what everyone was saying including people that had been in the booth. At least that's what I heard.

Hahah, really? Are you sure it was me? I still don't remember this conversation. At all.

I usually look much more fucked up than I actually am -- but, yeah, I had gone a few weeks without drinking, which didn't help my already extremely low tolerance, heh. I remember you from AVB, of course -- you should've said hi, if only to hear me ramble incoherently about the muppet DJ.

... Hm, and I think I was also on the stage by the booth at some point -- is that where you saw me? I'm slowly recovering some of my memory.

looooooooooooool

It's pretty hard to be more drunk than I was last night, but it sounds like you achieved that.

Posted by Caution_BiPolar on Aug-09-2008 22:45:

An example of cool...

An example of NOT so cool...

Posted by iammesol on Aug-09-2008 22:46:

You know what Sam, "Hate" is a pretty strong word even from an 18 year olds mouth. So what has Josh done to you to warrent "Hate"?

Posted by iammesol on Aug-10-2008 03:41:

I knew that was the wrong word when I posted it.

He just seems to be that kind of person who goes places to get his picture taken. All the makeup and crazy hair doesn't help. Those are things that just scream to me that I probably won't ever like him. By all means if he isn't that kind of person at all then I'm glad you called me out.

Also, though it doesn't hurt your point, I'm 19 now.

Posted by keithos27 on Aug-10-2008 04:08:

Does Joel have a tattoo of HIMSELF on his arm? Wow... that's a new level of narcissism for you.

See this is the kind of crap that is wrong in the world today and why so many people are segregated. You made judgment on someone and even said you hated him without ever even meeting or talking to him. Josh is a real genuine guy! Very considerate and always willing to lend a hand when needed and bend over backwards to help you out. He's very much into dance music and is not just there to be seen. Recently when my grandfather passed away Josh was the first person to offer up any help with any of my projects while I was out of town at the funeral and out of nowhere even brought over dinner for my wife while we were paking up the car for the drive to new york. I am very happy to have Josh as a friend. Wwhats the old saying, don't judge a book by its cover?

Posted by Ted Promo on Aug-10-2008 13:23:

yeah but with books you can go out and by book covers

Posted by Caution_BiPolar on Aug-10-2008 14:43:

Anyone know if Wetbar has security cameras running outside the club?

Like I said, thanks for clearing that up!

I never have actually made a genuine remark at the guy. If you haven't already noticed, most of the stuff on this board (especially in the Chill Out Room) is absolutely BS where people are just joking around.
