you are totally right, it went too far.

I personally don't think he meant the "snatch" comment and you should treat it in a jokingly manner, cause honestly if I was deadmau5 IRL and you would have said exactly the same things I would have said some worse things to your face

The whole idea of ppl saying "this is just a web forum" gets taken way out of context, imo. Words are more than just words.. hell, at its extreme, words (and images too, actually) can start wars, genocides, terrorist activities, especially if those words cross certain boundaries. Mere 'words' can incite a multitude of emotions, and no one on this message board is impervious to the emotive aspect that words/images can convey. No one.
