However, the fact that Spain owned them (even without Villa) says something about the team's consistency. Hiddink has come a long way with this team until now, but work is yet to be done to make them competitive come World Cup qualifying.

They played like they were before the cup. Totally not confident in their skills and potential. It showed. Sucks but oh well.

Overall in the tournament I agree, but this game was just sad. We really played sloppy as hell, and weren't aggressive enough consistently. We would have short bouts of really aggressive play, but then it would fizzle out within 2-3 minutes.
