the guverment is full of coke heads a fuckin assholes. The last time Tiesto there, I could barely count ten people who even know who he was. I think the managment there gives out tickets to ppl they know and they show up with the attitudes and there bitches, standing there not knowing what to think of ppl who are enjoying themselves. that place is a hole, the venue is good but the ppl are the people to be around. brutal!! freakin coke heads.

I've seen AVB on his two previous occasions, and he did not disappoint. Can't wait for this one, I'm really looking forward to seeing the new club, all the TA, and the man himself!
anyine know what time AVB will play? I'm going to Toronto for that weekend to see a few friends and we were thinking of going out, and now i see that AVB will be at the Guv and will want to go... but I'm not sure what times the DJs play at, because one of my friends that live in Toronto had already been to guvernment and told me it closed at 7, which is really early compared to Montreal afters... but thats beyond the point, i just want to know what time to show up for... and how long is the set...

are there usually long line-ups to get in with big DJs, or any for that matter....

OMG...
I saw Armin last Sat 6/8 at Glow in DC...and his set was amazing!! I even got to meet him afterwards...and told him we're coming to see him in toronto. His exact words: "Toronto is going to be wicked"

You bet it'll be wicked... There's people coming from all over for this one... Michigan, New York, Quebec and all over Ontario. Get there early so you're not disappointed.

Nah, i'm the type to only see my favourite DJs... I will only show up for AVB, like I did with Tiesto last week in Montreal.. he played 3-7, i got there at 2:30 just to be safe and not miss 1 minute of his set, and left not even 2 minutes after he waved bye to the crowd... thats my type... i'll probably show for AVB at 1:30 or so, maybe even 1:15 because of your suggestions due to long line-ups and will leave at 5 or whenever he finishes...

Two More Days...
Two more days and counting!! Looking forward to the big night! Can't wait to see everyone, and meet new people.. and of course dance up a storm
If anybody is going down super early there will be a small meet up in the parking lot across from Guv by the fence. Myself, Stylez, Blue_Neon, Infinity High and his "G", Dj M_G, Spynz from Kansas, Hardcore Trancer, and perhaps a few others will be meeting there since we are all going in around 10PM to avoid the major lineup

Hi all...first post although I've been lurking here for almost two years. I'm hoping to meet some of you at AVB, so I figured I better get in at least one post so there'd be some proof that I'm actually a TA.
It's my birthday Saturday (AVB on my birthday - does it get any better?), so I'll be there with a bunch of friends, but I really want to get to the acid room at 12:30 to say hi and, of course, to get a sticker.
So how does everyone actually meet? I know we're doing the acid room at 12:30, but I don't know if I'll actually recognize anybody unless you actually look like your avatars.
Damn....way too excited now...have to pretend I'm working...

About the meet up, you cant miss us. Everyone will be gathered mingling, and the acid room isn't that big.. if your having trouble then just kinda ask around "are you a TA"..
I don't know what Im wearing yet, but I have dark brown hair and eyes

It'll be great to finally meet some TA's. Most of my friends are into techno or progressive. They'll still go to see most of the big name trance dj's, but it's more for the event than the music and they torment me endlessly about the my "wimpy" taste. Bastards.
Also, I tend to stay until they throw me out of the club, but most of my friends have no stamina whatsoever and I'm always the last man standing when the sun comes up. It would be oh-so-cool to look around and see a friendly TA face at that point.

Just sorted out our guest list. It'll be good to see a niice loong trance set. I feel I get cheated out of my favourite DJs at parties when they're only on for an hour.
