I was totally thinking cat woman maybe. Due to the joke about how the new batsuit would hold up to cats.

Definitely agree with you on the voice. I hated that. And I'm glad there'll be a new batmobile, b/c I hated the one they used.

as long as halle berry doesnt play catwoman, ill be ok with catwoman being featured...only knowing the way these batmans are going, can be sure it wont be a sexy outfit..lol

I'd prefer quality acting over a sexy outfit. But I'm sure there's a lot of guys out there wouldn't agree. Let's hope you're right if they do have catwoman.

the original Catwoman FTW

***SPOILER WARNING***

As far as characters for a third film goes:

Selina Kyle/Catwoman is a strong possibility, as there are no other female leads left in the cast. I don't see her playing a villain though. After the bloodbath of Joker and Two-Face, a sexy jewel thief just doesn't seem the least bit dangerous or threatening. I see her as more of a counterpart to Batman.

Riddler is a ridiculous character, always has been. A poor-man's Joker at best. I don't want to see him in this franchise.

Has anyone ever found the Penguin to be anything but campy, annoying, or disgusting (i.e. Danny DeVito spewing black goo?) No way.

My choice for a villian? Bane. He is Batman's equal in physical strength, fighting ability, and strategic thinking. In the comics he launched a strategy to destroy Batman that started with releasing every prisoner from Arkham and ended with him snapping Batman's spine over his knee. I'd say that fits the bill for a serious opponent.

best action movie?

Raiders of the Lost Ark? Robocop? Total Recall? Those latter two are more sci fi action though.

The Indiana Jones' would probably be on my list for sure...

Does The Goonies count? Haha

One thing that I found annoying were the scenes with those CGI shots of Batman wearing the "cell phone network sonar imaging glasses". I think that went a little too far toward silly.

Bale's Batman voice is a little distracting and the Batmobile still looks like a really impractical tank that would never make it off the designing board. Some of the hand to hand fighting isn't shot very well and reminded me of the way Peter Jackson shot the Lord of the Rings fighting sequences = close, shakey and blurry. I hate that style of filming...why can't directors just take their fucking time, pull the camera out a bit, choerograph the scenes properly and let the audience clearly see what's going on? Too many movies are getting lazy the way they actually shoot the action.

That said, this was probably the best movie I've seen this year and is the first movie since Return of the King that I'm actually going to see at the theatre more than once!

Some of the edits (especially near the beginning) I found were kinda shotty too.

I agree about that too. I have a feeling there's going to be some kind of extended DVD release before Chrismtas with extra footage. Remember at the party when the Joker throws Rachel off the roof and Batman saves her? Well...what happened to those people at the party and how did the Joker get away? It just cuts right away and never explains it...that is definitely a flaw!

I also felt that Batman Begins suffered from the same type of problems (editing, fight choreography, etc).

So I really think the people who are calling this the greatest film of all time need to relax a little. I cant' believe the ratings its getting on IMDB.

You may want to put a little spoiler alert before that. The cut that I noticed initially was when the scene (I forget which one) cut to Rachel and Harvey eating dinner and then Bruce and that girl walked in.

I wouldn't say it's the greatest film of all time, but I would definitely put it up there on my list of top action movies IMO. I find that every big anticipated blockbuster is "the great film of all time" or "the greatest comedy of the year", so I don't really pay attn to that stuff.

Compared to Batman Begins I thought this was WAY better. I actually didn't really like Batman Begins that much.

This would be even worse than Angelina Jolie playing catwoman.
