true, i'd like to make it but being gone at work 12 hours a day i don't think i'd have the energy to enjoy myself or stay awake for that matter

Posted by trancension on Sep-18-2008 21:43:

Well my friend texted me when Daydream and Formentera What came on, and I see Formentera What there, but no Daydream.

And then I saw a Youtube vid with Big Sky being played that night.

So that's at least 2 tracks.

Not a big deal...just saying that isn't the entire playlist and you just admitted it's not the entire playlist...so dunno what your problem is...

Posted by romz on Sep-18-2008 22:56:

so how many tickets have been sold so far? is it going to be packed like for tiesto/armin/pvd?

Posted by a spoon on Sep-19-2008 07:24:

Arrow

Fuck, so no ones stumbled home yet? A little upset school and tires kept me from seeing markus. Anyone know if hes coming anywhere in N FL soon?

Posted by euroq on Sep-19-2008 07:24:

The show was awesome! Started out with some very awesome progressive, and moved on to some cool progressive trance. Fun times.

Posted by PVDfan07 on Sep-19-2008 07:56:

Markus Schulz was amazing. Gets my vote for show of the year. I'll have a better review later, but for now, got to get to bed.

Posted by Seppuku on Sep-19-2008 08:18:

That was probably the best opera show I've ever seen. It's nice seeing a trance DJ I can still get into. He didnt even get cheesy until the very end, but aside from that his track selection was excellent. Markus is also a really cool guy.

Great party liquified.

epic performance......

Posted by DJ Blitzkrieg on Sep-19-2008 17:25:

Amazing! Great build up and excellent mixing. Plus I got to shake hands with him at the end! That's the first DJ I've seen at Opera that didn't just walk off stage. Great DJ and guy!

Some songs I remember from last night.

Hammer & Herbick - You (Dyor Remix)
Cressida - 6 A.M. (Kyau & Albert Remix)
Albert Vorne - Formentera What (Gareth Emery Remix)
Markus Schulz ft. Departure - Cause You Know (Nic Chagall Remix?)
Armin van Buuren ft. Sharon den Adel - In and Out of Love (Blizzard Remix?)
Sunlounger ft. Zara - Lost (Dance/Club Mix)
Markus Schulz vs. Andy Moor - Daydream (Lemon & Einar K Remix)
John O'Callaghan ft. Audrey Gallagher - Big Sky (Agnelli & Nelson Remix)

Really, really great set.

Yeah, not only was his set amazing, he is a great guy too. Although I'm sure he had to have thought it was a little annoying all the people wanting to take pictures with him, he didn't show it. I didn't try to get a pic with him though because I don't want to seem like a fanboy. haha I did shake his hand though and you are right, not too many people stick around like that after shows. It's always good to see an artist recognizing the fans.

Thanks for starting a track list. Here's a couple more I remember. Not sure of what remixes some of them may have been.

Wippenberg- Chakalaka
Markus Schulz and Departure with Gabriel and Dresden - Without You Near
Giuseppe Ottaviani- No More Alone
Rank 1- Airwave
4 Strings- Take Me Away
There was that track that has been referred to as "Track 02 from GDJB World Tour New York Set" in all his recent mixes.
Pretty sure Markus played his new song The New World too.
That's all I can think of right now. Anyone else know of any more, it would be cool to hear.

Once again though, amazing set by an amazing dj. Hope he comes back soon!

That show was awesome

Posted by trancension on Sep-20-2008 09:06:

Thought I heard Take Me Away and Without You Near!

Man, I'm so mad that night has come and gone...I hope he plays this on GDJB for his world tour show in October!

Posted by trancension on Sep-20-2008 09:23:

And I think the song that's been labeled Track 02 From World Tour in New York is:

Mr Pit - Love You More

Damn Markus... fucking insane!

I also heard

Mr. Pit - Shana (Duderstadt Progressive Dub Remix)
Airwave - Breathing (Remix)
Offer Nissim -For Your Love (Sied van Riel Remix)

Wow! In my 9 years as a fan of trance music that had to be one of the best sets I've heard. Really amazing. Unfortunately, I had to leave around 1:30am due to my girlfriend not feeling well and I had to be at work @ 8:30am. I wish I could have stayed until the end. Markus Schulz definitely goes in my top 5 DJs

This reminds me, if you havent voted yet, vote now. Voting ends soon: http://top100djs.djmag.com/

This was my first time seeing a DJ @ Opera and I must agree, the sound could be better. However, I do like the club and Markus was incredible.

Also, Im sorry to hear about WetBar. I really liked that place and its only 2 blocks from my apt. Id much rather hang out with the gay crowd and hear dance music than thuggish rap.

Holy shit, I had no idea that song was a Markus Schulz remix.

Amazing song!

I think I like this one more than The New World in fact, and I've been waiting for ASOT 2008 to come out just for The New World

Yeah, I think it is an awesome song. I thought it sounded like something Markus had to have worked on. He seems to do that stutter vocal sound in a few of his songs.

Posted by trancension on Sep-22-2008 03:15:

I figured it was Mr Pit or Gareth Emery myself =o

Posted by trancension on Sep-23-2008 21:56:

Giuseppe Ottaviani feat. Stephen Pickup - No More Alone
Mike Foyle - Bittersweet Nightshade

Did these get played? =o
