Ha, I couldn't figure out where I got this set. I spent like an hour on google searching for a TL and another hour on msn bugging Tony about it.

Yep yep, Clovis, this set pwns.

I think tracklisting for this can only be done by Pronsato or Sammy Dee themselves...lol

Half Hawaii is playing in San Francisco October 11th

it was at the back of the beatport stage late in the afternoon/early evening. some guy pushed his way through & made the guy in front of me fall back, so I took a step back to brace for impact. I felt a shoe, so I turned a bit & said, 'sorry, man.'

well, that got no response, so I turned around again & said, 'hey, sorry.' still no response. I shrugged & went back to listening. he then tapped me on the shoulder & said "you just stepped on bruno pronsato's favorite shoes. Have an awesome night, bud," patted me on the back, & left the area.

At least you got a pat on the back.

Posted by shaw on Oct-03-2008 19:20:

I was just confused. that did not help.

Posted by Clovis on Oct-03-2008 19:21:

Posted by RJT on Oct-03-2008 20:45:

disagree. some music is designed for high volumes. most commercial recordings are created for shitty speakers & sound extremely harsh when played loud.

Is someone able to reupload this please? It seems the Sendspace link in the original post is dead. Cheers

Goin to give this a listen...never actually knew what qualified as minimal and what didn't, so I hope this is accurate.

Posted by Zak McKracken on Oct-05-2008 17:52:

why did i waste time on this. its just the same as everything else.

Posted by RickyM on Oct-05-2008 21:16:

After listening...I'm afraid to say that was a complete and utter waste of my bandwidth...most of the music sounds like it was made inside a kettle. If I was on a night out and a club played music like that, I think I'd be out the fucking door after 2 minutes...
But each to his own

since when is our music commercial.
I can see if it was mastered on a shitty laptop, which can/is becoming bad..

Otherwise, that makes no sense... he obviously didnt mean the newest Timberlake single/Kanye shit mashup.

Lets consider the fact that watergate opens for up to 12 hours at a time, this is a snippet from that night, probably quite an early set so its good for warm up stuff for people arriving to the club. maybe it's not the best for home listening, but I liked it - pronsato is a great prodcucer.

I can only go by what I hear...I can appreciate that some people like this style, but it's far too dull for me. There's not enough going on in any of the tracks, and they all same to use the same kick and bass.

this is the common ecscuse when someone say minimal is boring. "noooh u have to be there and feeeel the building" lol, yeah ive done that and magda impressed me, adam beyer not to say some examples. and why i liked magda is beacuse she playd some SICK stuff which wasnt very minimal at all.
