anymore thought on trance ? Or why there is sooooo much bad trance

The commercialization of Trance music to try to appeal to a wider base, in turn alienated some of its most loyal followers. Trends change and DJs get tired of spinning the same style of tunes, just a thought.

I go out several nights a week sometimes here in LA and I get to hear good music pretty much everytime.

I guess it sucks in your area?

Sure, but not many knew or have seen that back then. Record stores didn't sell that underground music.
I don't think trance would have spread so wide without Eurohouse or the German Techno.

yeah it was a small scene. but still. it existed and was striving.

Nope NYC has plenty of places with good tunes, just a lot more with cheesy music. It's like that in LA too. Not too hard to understand since that music is pretty commercial. Most places play top 40 and cheesy house, it's really not that difficult of a concept.

"Trance is dead. Ferry Corsten killed it"(but Armin put the final nail in the coffin). Ok, it's not dead, but it's certainly not #1 anymore, most of the once trance producers are now minimal, tech-house(sometimes techtrance), or nu-electro-cheese.

FFS the last post has let you down there Neo, thought you were playing an ok game until then.

Not sure why people (Americans) think Trance is even close to being the most popular form of EDM globally.
