Which is a smart response, as if he were to say anything negative, it would be this whole inflated drama about how 'Oh, Deadmau5 said Tommy Lee sucks, and bla, bla, bla.' But if he felt he was a good DJ, he probably would have just said so, as there's no negative press in saying that.
