haha well said. Like i totally didnt even want to read in the conversation but how the fuck is getting a hookah going to get your dick sucked? I think i missed something haha. Hookah a cool way to chill with friends and relax thats about it or getting a huge group of people high b/c they got tired of j's or blunts. Bout it. Funny to see the discrepancies amongst people with hookah smoking and overall use of other substances. I know some people that think its the worst, yet....they roll balls on the active. I think people in general come to justify use and abuse of substances whether it be tobacco, alcohol, weed, coke,x, flippies, flappers, zippies, (Dont know if those last three exist haha)

The thing is, when you tend to attach any gradation to YOURSELF in life, it tends to be exaggerated to what you would like to believe you are.

I know (roughly) what my parents earned when I was living with them. This is how I classify myself as "upper middle class"; I am talking about income brackets.

There tend to be (on average) some cultural differences between upper and lower middle class, probably based mostly on educational attainment and the educational attainment of their parents. Highly educated people tend to be interested in different stuff than less-educated people, and they tend to direct their kids toward different kinds of activities. This is a generalization, but a true one according to any sociological data that I know of. There are always exceptions, of course.

Once I go entirely without parental support I will be "formerly upper middle class."

Another decent guide might be whether you (or your household) are in the top 20% of income earners in your state / province. For the U.S. as a whole the top 20% of incomes begins around $80,000:

The buying power of $80,000 a year will obviously vary by state and city. But generally more expensive cities and states also tend to have a bigger proportion of high-income earners, and therefore a richer top 20% of earners -- i.e., their lower-limit for the top 20% would be greater than $80,000 annually -- since people who earn less often choose not to live in expensive places.
