anyone who even suggests that drinking beer from cans is acceptable is an absolutely clueless.

The very fact that a couple of beers in America now make aluminium bottles just flabbergasted me.

beer in a can is largely no different that beer in a bottle. cans are *sealed*, they do not simply put beer in a metal container, metals would leech, the oxygen may oxidize the can...dumb idea. guess what draught is? A BIG FUCKING CAN!

lol|

True. But, drinking from a can, your mouth touches the aluminium, and so it tastes like metal.

PS: Firefox spellchecker just tried to tell me that 'aluminium' should be spelled 'aluminum' instead Poor form.

Kegs have a massive like 1/2" polyurethane liner. It isn't even leeching. Cans don't have this.

I feel like splurging on dank beer.

I approve of this man's selection.

aluminium and plastic bottles are made for events and activities where glass is not allowed. Could you imagine people throwing glass bottles at sporting events?

it is you who are clueless.

that could be a pretty entertaining sporting event in itself.

Cans! Not only do they get colder than bottles, but they stay colder longer. No brainer.

Ten Fidy is by Oskar Blues, the same as i had posted. from the web site:

quote:
Aluminum cans and their lids are lined with a water-based polymer - guarding them from a metal taste. Katechis points out that cans keep beer fresh by fully eliminating the damage from light, and holding extremely low amounts of dissolved oxygen.

they are lined, eat my ass.

and delerium tremens is quite good, preferred over tripel karmeliet imho

Has anybody had this? FUCKING AMAZING BEER.

Aecht Shlenkerla Rauchbier. Available in several varieties, I recently had the bock and the Weisse. Really really delicious.

Bottles FTW, or depending on the beer, in a glass.

precisely. Any liquid stored in plastic or tin leaves a residue in the liquid itself from it, whereas a glass bottle is clean.
