I highly disagree with Armin being there. He's one of the coolest and truly most humble guys you'll meet... i really don't even know what would give you this idea, don't take it personally when security whisks him away and you cant get your autograph

I haven't met many people, but I also haven't been around that long.. but I agree with previous mention of, and remember Mr. George Hatiras being a very nice man. I am still so very impressed by his down-to-earth nature and how easy it is to be able to just chat with him... I think it's always really nice meeting people like that, dj or not.

I think his post is based on showmanship aspect, but then again I'll let him answer.

Does anyone have the link to the vid where Tiesto tells the interviewer "I'm the American dream" followed by his cheesy smile

really really humble djs are not these guys that go out and put an image that their humble.

its peeps like vincent de moor, make tunes and stay away from the chaos.
ghosts producers as well.

Ive only met a handful of djs..PVD, Sander Kleinenberg, Markus Schulz, and Steve Lawler. All were very chilled, and they all put importance in giving a fan facetime if he spots them. It seems like a quality thats more prevalent in international djs than local ones.

lol +1, when he was here at Dragonfly in the summer, after his set a bunch of people went up to him for pictures and autographs. The bouncers would only let the girls take pics with him despite me being one of the first waiting. Then the bouncers pulled him away from the crowd and he said wait, let that guy through. that made my night lol.

I don't know Sander Van Doorn personally, but from his interviews, Identity mix, youtube videos it's hard to imagine him not being humble.

And that story of Menno offering to pay for the rentals and not taking any money for his gig in Poland I believe.. that's admirable.

Armin doesn't exactly look humble here..

Posted by Damerchi on Jan-02-2009 07:04:

Armin trips me out...he is too powerful in this industry lol. But he does some really nice things to fellow dj/producers and turns them into stars overnight...but it seems to be random as shit

for example, Blake Jarell, wtf happened there? Blake is chill on the forums and all, good producer too, but i never understood how Blake passes him a cd and next thing he is on tour with him.

Arnej explain the inner workings of his empire..
