I'm jealous of you all. I would have come to town for this if I could have. I don't miss many...if any big shows at the Mayan. That includes Ferry's first time in LA, the Moonshine Xmas party in 2003, PVD, and every time Diggers or Sasha & Diggers has played there. Goona be such a great time. And for those whom haven't been there, I'm interested to see what you think. It's the perfect venue for Diggers. You might recognize it from many commercials and movies including the the epic classic "A Night At The Roxbury"
I'll never forget trying to leave in 06 but being forced to stay for "one more track." That went on for about an hour and a half. Was probably the most amazing DJ performance I have seen to date, and I've been going to avalon or vanguard every saturday for the past 4 years, not to mention countless other events. Can't wait to hit up the Mayan again and see Digweed rock the house like he did last time.

So I had a first tonight... was at the Cut Copy show at the Music Box, and the fire marshals shut it down at 11:00pm. WTF.
We'll see how long they get to play tomorrow night....
But in any case, I'll be at the Mayan by midnight.
So sad that Thrax is ditching us.
